This came up on my feed (I am guessing?) because of all the Carl Jung videos I watch for class (and content from SK). I am currently on episode 2 now. I am taking my time because I see that it only has 6 episodes. Means this ends soon and based on the comments there aren't English subs yet.

The concept is good and I am hooked. :) Way better than "Big Brother" tbh.

I read all reviews from those who have completed the series 32/32 (hm my WeTV page has only 29). Of course I have also been lurking this page for a while now, waaaay before TOOL aired. And when it was airing it was entertaining for me to read people's reactions over here.

As the dust settles I can now watch it from 1-29 and see for myself.

In Our Song, XZ called himself "Cold Soda" and if the translation is correct it is because he likes to drink carbonated water (me too!) but Pepsi is just too sweet for me. Coke isn't any better. But, CHEERS! Here's a "Bing Soda" ha ha, I'll drink XZ any day/night. LOL. :D

This is my watching strategy LOL. I am waiting for all the episodes to drop before I binge because this is a crazy time at work and I can't be distracted. I visit this page daily tho to commiserate with those who watch serially.

Hello Amisha! Indeed, it was a bit of a mind-job for me. I used to be house-mates with local theatre people (actors, writers, directors) and despite their collective talent, they came in all shapes and sizes.

As I am fairly new to CDrama I've had to reorient myself in what I'm watching especially with body-image. To be fair tho, ancient Chinese costume is very flattering to tall/slender figures although modern dramas like this one, hm.

Some years ago the A4 waistline as an ideal in China was making the rounds on social media. That was a culture shock for me too.

I have a bit of an obsessive personality (not diagnosed though, am just a bit self-aware LOL), and I happen to know what (also, who?!) I like, and when I do like something (someone?!), I fall hard with a THUDDD, so I totally feel this post.

Por ejemplo, I like books, I like typewriters, I like fountain pens, I like learning languages, I liiiiiiiike XZ.

I like all of 'em real HARD. Borderline obsessive, maybe, but I'm a fully functional adult and has some control over my impulses now... I write this on my lunch-break, too. I'm withholding watching TOOL episodes until it stops airing so I could binge all of the episodes (from 1 to 29) on just one go (guessing it has got to be on a weekend).

I was told by a Chinese friend that lukewarm drinks balances the (yin?) energy. They avoid cold drinks especially in the morning for health reasons. It makes sense tho, because even in Europe, they serve beer at room temp. Prost! But hey, when in Rome... or in this case when in Wuxi... just do as they do.

But I do live in the tropics where it gets sweltering (yesterday's high was 41C) so I'm used to icing it. :D

I am waiting patiently until TOOL stops airing before I finally binge-watch. But I keep going back to this page to spoil myself meanwhile, LOL.

As for me, I always offer friendship, which is not bad at all, but then again it's also not always welcome (LOL!). The signals that we send and/or receive isn't always crystal clear. Hence real life stuff makes for great drama scenes. Art imitates life, and all that.

Surely we are all works in progress when it comes to communicating better, 'no?
