Can someone who read the novel confirm if this is true or just rumors? I heard that the princess sleeps with the Emperor of Jinxiu to protect her husband, gets pregnant, then the prince kills her child and that’s when she starts hating him .
I want her to fall in love with someone else... He doesn't deserve her no matter how he's going to "regret"…
Looks like Jiang Liang will be the one to set off his jealousy and I honestly hope it makes him choke on regretand die , because at this point he needs to grovel hard to earn even a bit of sympathy.
I see exactly what you mean. He did a full background check on her, probably even before they officially met.…
If you rewatch all 12 episodes, you start to notice it from the very beginning. He’s always hinting, always showing that side of himself but she never really catches it. The audacity of him to think she would just keep holding on and carry on with their life. Her walking away might be hard but she faced worse and she’s capable of surviving it.
Honestly enjoying this drama so much! The leads are both complex and grey characters and I love it so much. ML…
I see exactly what you mean. He did a full background check on her, probably even before they officially met. He gives her the illusion of freedom, yet always keeps the upper hand. She even tries to confess her secrets, to be open with him, but he stops her just to maintain control. It’s so sad, because she’s trying to do the right thing and he’s actively shutting her down. Watching episode 12 and the previews really shows that their relationship is so off. She’s been doing all these things for him but he treats it like a transaction, like she owes him and that makes every moment between them awkward to watch. She needs to leave,if she stays, he’ll never acknowledge his feelings or truly see her and she’ll always be stuck in this toxic dynamic. He’s controlling and manipulative and while they look perfect together on screen, it doesn’t feel real.
I hateee fang lei especially her voice my god how could someone be this much shameless, despicable, vicious 🤢On…
Honestly, she gives me such weird vibes. The first flashback was already off, the way she looked at her sister’s boyfriend was just wrong and i can’t shake the feeling that she might have actually done something to her own sister just to get that man.
Episode 7 will be released in 15 minute more later.. you watched the teaser?
What I’m most looking forward to is their separation, because that’s when she’ll finally come into her own and he’ll realize what he lost. I feel like that’ll be the turning point before they rebuild and get back together
Honestly, it used to be fun scrolling the comments and debating with people who were actually open minded and balanced. Now it's just all negativity. It’s frustrating because people only see what they want to see, they blame her for everything but they’re acting exactly like her "short sighted, quick to judge" and ignoring the full picture. Yes, she makes mistakes. So does Nan Heng, both of them caused the misunderstandings. If you're gonna judge at least be fair and look at both sides. Don’t just dump everything on her like she’s the root of all evil. That’s not analysis, just plain bias.
I’m honestly mad at both of them, all these misunderstandings are basically their fault. But at the same time,…
And honestly, I really didn’t like when he kissed her that second time not when he still hadn’t decided how or when to reveal his true identity. It’s so obvious he’s not ready to come clean. He’s too comfortable living this double life, being the villain on one side and her lover on the other. And from the preview she didn’t even find out the truth from him, it looks like he’s only telling her because he’s forced to after she tries to harm herself. What’s really sad is that he was her only hope. She trusted him, loved him and saw him as proof that maybe she could fight the script, that there was still a way out but now she's finding out it was all just an illusion.

You're totally right. People need to look at both sides. Yeah, she annoyed me at times but honestly, I’ve never watched a C-drama where I wasn’t at least a little frustrated with the leads. Letting that frustration ruin the whole show? That’s just unfair. I get why she acts the way she does, even if I don’t always agree. The script threw her worst fears right back in her face so you can’t really expect her to stay calm after that.
people still can't see why SYM is like this 😕, I'm tired now of the constant bashing of her! She has reasons…
I’m honestly mad at both of them, all these misunderstandings are basically their fault. But at the same time, I get why they’re acting this way and their fears kind of make sense too.
My cdrama experience says, the MORE fun the earlier episodes are,the more tragic, serious ANGST It's gonna bring…
like seriously, who the hell writes a story where the FL gives up everything for him. Runs away from a good marriage, goes against her own family just to end up betrayed and killed by him?? And he's still the ML ? I was so mad at him at first but now going forward, I’m like something doesn’t add up. He’s not as evil as they made him seem and same for her sister.
The audacity of him to think she would just keep holding on and carry on with their life. Her walking away might be hard but she
