We are outside the drama (so we know that LBY loves her in advance) , as for her: she is inside and her point of view is like : looking at a landscape through a keyhole. What did she see about him? he already threatened her many times to expose her (saying to everyone that she had seen him naked OMG 😱 or their scene in the wood with tree trunks where he wanted to cause scandale for her to break up with LY, the scene where She and her Dad went in his house, threatening her with her Jade pendant , the scene about her grand uncle and so on). And we know (as people outside the drama) that he had done all this because he loves her (he is clumsy at showing his love). But what she sees is just: "this guy is mean, he keeps trapping me, i am scared", even her dad is scared of him 😳😳
Furthermore she is from 21st century era (which the drama casted because of the ban in China), so she has this "independent woman's vibe" , of course she will do things by herself, and it's hard for her to trust him sometimes. And it will always appear to us that it' s unbalanced (she doesn't deserve him etc) since he loves her more than she does, but this is the fair result of this kind of pair considering their background.
Both of them need to improve for sure in their relationship ( i think they will at the end or may be not). She needs to trust him more; He needs to explain things to her more, they need to collaborate and work together (something about moon, galaxy etc thing) She already decided to treat him well and voilà
