just watched the first 3 eps at one go and i couldn't stop! so far so good! we are not seeing a development in the 2 main leads' relationship yet, but generally the whole "Tin trying to figure out what to do next" has been interesting enough for me :-) looking forward to the next ep!

Hey I actually liked this ep more than the previous. Editing seems better, no awkward "Akk Theo randomly getting close" scenes, and thank god no more fiber supplement tie-in cuz that was the toughest thing to watch in the previous ep.
I thought Phupha was less creepy than the previous ep lmao at least we know his motive getting close to Theo is to save the dying literature department 😉 that leaves us with Natee and Wayo left. Natee is now giving the creepy vibes with his awkward pick-up lines and thinks-he-knows-all mentality, and I am living for that! I thought Fluke did a good job delivering those lines to Phupha (being all bitchy and stuff hahahahhaaha) and like i said previously, his sidekick is still around him all the time and he even approached Theo.. WHAT ARE THEY UP TO OMG I want to know!! We also need to know more about Wayo's character.
I thought Force did pretty well with the scene where he looked hurt when he brought Theo back home from the bar - especially the scene where Theo told him that he was nosy - looking down briefly when Theo grabbed his head and looking back into Theo's eyes, not bad at all!
Things are a little slow, but it's surely moving! I think it's not a show that I'll be invested about, but it's something that I'd be watching on my friday nights when I have nothing on (which is every friday night 😅).

however i've seen some people saying that in the special part of the novel, they revealed that Theo was actually enchante himself and he was trying to get a reaction from Akk, and hence he did the whole enchante thing 😅 i am not sure whether the special part is totally true as i've only seen one/two persons saying that, but for the actual novel i'm pretty sure they did not reveal who enchante was in the end.
Yes ep 8 was so good!! Finally feel like every piece is falling into the right places. Sean and White are fully trusting each other, and I am curious about the backstory of Sean and White (I've seen some people saying that in the novel they knew eo back in the day).
Let me give my MVP of the episode to Mr. Gawin Caskey!!!! OMG. The scene where Yok was drawing Dan.. and it transitioned gradually into Dan breaking down his emotional wall.. JUST BEAUTIFUL 👏🏻 the boys executed that scene perfectly!! kudos to the director and production team too!! Gawin needs more lead roles @gmmtv !!!
I thought this episode was a bit all over the place, especially with how they shot the ep. I don't understand why the camera shook so badly during the scene outside the police station. It was shaking so much as if they were shooting the big fight in BBS in ep 5 lmao but bro you were not so why did they decide to move the camera so much? It made that light-hearted scene so stressful to watch.
And the product placement after the dishwashing scene OH NO it was so bad 😭 They most probably got a new sponsor and needed to find a way to put it in the drama, decided that the fiber supplement goes best after the dinner scene, shot that part separately and just shoved it there. The cut scene was unnatural, the time of the day was off (unless they washed plates for the entire night cuz it's obviously day time when during the scene), and they blatantly put the product in the foreground and focused on it 😭 the box was there for like a good 2 minutes with Akk even walking away so that the camera can get a better view of it. I just cringed 😢
I also agree that the scenes where Akk and Theo get close + slow motion were way overdone. Them bickering and teasing one another is cute enough. The selling point about Force and Book is that they are comfortable in their own skin whenever they shoot scenes together as the actors knew each other for a long time - their interactions are super natural. Utilise that, and not the slow-moed awkward random close scenes.
What I liked was that we are finally getting into the 4 other dudes and things seem to be pretty interesting. Unlike what I thought initially, which was the typical oh Akk did something that made them fall in love with him blah blah blah, it seems like the 4 dudes have their own motive for getting close to Akk. And I am intrigued! If this turns into a mystery drama, I might like it more hahahaha. ngl Phupha gave off creepy vibes, Gawin was super hot as always, and Fluke seemed to have a mysterious side to him. He had this "Tan" dude following him wherever he went so far in this ep - maybe we will get some sort of back story with that guy too?
I am hoping that the next ep will be better since we have officially introduced the entire main cast and we can move straight to the storyline 🙏🏻
i agree that episode 7 was good - the scene where white and sean interact under the rainbow flag was beautiful, and the sexual tension we got from Dan and Yok was *chef's kiss*. i also liked the fact that Yok and Gram knew that Sean's plan sucked but went with it anyways with their own agendas in mind. they got lucky with the cctv for being ass quality though, if not i think a mask won't really help lmao.
however i was a bit confused when i was watching white and sean's scene - so they are cool now? i thought i skipped a part and actually went to rewatch the ep again. didn't sean just choked white LOL white's lips were still bruised at the protest too.. and they start to hold hands under the flag? i get that there were little bits and pieces here and there from the previous episodes that hints a development of relationship between white and sean, and that sean realised that whatever white has said and done were correct, but isn't sean gonna at least apologise to white for hitting and choking him? they didn't even talk after the incident. i guess all of them unanimously decide to let go of the incident cuz it all went well eventually..? or maybe sean will apologise later 😅
the child actors are so cute!!!!!! story is ok so far, acting from force and book can be a little better but hey it's only ep 1 so we shall wait and see. their chemistry though!!! being friends from young certainly helped cuz you can tell that they are really comfortable during their scenes together. having watched SH i can differentiate them and i dont think they look THAT similar lmao. but ok i am someone who can differentiate AJ and JJ so maybe im just a little better with faces
