I found the trailer more hilarious. The show had funny moments…. I heard people saying “best drama!!!!”…
Epi 1-5 or 6 wasn’t bad. After that the show was really frustrating as I mentioned above why. Episode 12 and on is when the drama picked up and got much better. If you can last for the first 6 episodes…try to stick it out, if you can. But I wouldn’t blame you if you decide to drop.

Every one has right to express opinion,i think you are still struck in school 2015,ever since his acting not only…
Didn’t you say her opinion doesn’t matter anyway, so why are you pressing.

I found the trailer more hilarious. The show had funny moments…. I heard people saying “best drama!!!!” “So hilarious!!!!” I kinda rolled my eyes…but then again a lot of dramas I’ve watched I see the same person says this. I guess every dramas is the best for them.
Anyways rant over.

The show lives on COINCIDENCES, I understand the misunderstandings since the plot revolves around it (and I hate misunderstandings that doesn’t get resolve in a timely manner) but all the coincidences was a bit much, to the point that makes you think, did the writers run out of ways to move forward?
I’m on epi 10, and thought of dropping this several times, but I want to finish it.

As much as I didn’t care for the FL’s character or even as an actress (they tried to make her quirky at times which I found odd, it really didn’t suit her) her chemistry with JH made more sense than the ML.
ML was so hanged up and made to look so pathetic because he loved his ex sooooo much that he wouldn’t give up on her. The moment he found out that she may have had an abortion, he was so upset, heartbroken and felt betrayed, then writers chucked that whole storyline out the window and next thing I know he’s in love with the FL despite how he was treating her. Despite how the interactions between them were less than my 5 fingers before she started working there and those interactions were not even memorable, why? Because he didn’t even realize it was her when he was bitching why she was getting hired as a president! And telling her atm over and over that he hates her.
And her falling for him didn’t make sense either. She was so inlove with her husband and was waiting for him, but the moment his parents ask her to sign the divorce papers she fell for the ML, the whole time he was a jerk. Not a tsundure, just a jerk.
I honestly think JH was supposed to be the ML at first ( you’ll see when you watch the first few episodes why) then writers decided you know what let’s make him 2ML instead.
I usually hate it when dramas get draggy
and I get bored, I didn’t feel that way with this show, but I had to drop this because
plots were all over the place.
If it wasn’t for JH and his gang, I may have dropped it sooner.

Still contemplating to watch this. Somehow this genre doesn't do it for me.
Same for me, I’m not into HS/college life dramas but gave it a chance because of the high ratings.
It’s ok. There’s nothing great about it, not that boring. You wouldn’t miss anything if you pass on it.

It’s fun to watch.
It’s a fantasy drama so be prepared to scratch your head. It all made sense to me unlike other reviews implied. It’s just that the story wasn’t executed well, and there are a lot of plot holes, too many….but you’re still able to follow along.
The only inkling I have is the first episode with the aliens…..there was no reason, no explanation….it’s just for the cameo guys, AND the last episode…the time skip of 3 FOOOKING YEARS (I honestly don’t care about time skip in dramas, but this one absolutely didn’t need it) and coming back was def not executed well.
Other than that…enjoy for the fluffiness.

With signing on with a new agency last year, you’d think they’ll open doors for better dramas for him to star in. After something about 1%, no opportunities came yet. Fighting!

Put on hold, I may drop, I got so bored.
I haven’t been on MDL that long, but I’ve been watching kdramas for years.
If I find myself picking up my phone on first episode and more interested scrolling on it then it means the drama is not catching my interest. By 2nd episode if I um utterly bored, I’m dropping. If not I’ll watch a few more episodes, and see how it goes. There are a few ways I’ll either put it on hold or dropping.
This one is still undecided, but leaning more to dropping.
1. I think I’m not interested into the storyline when it comes to prosopagnosia (because I also dropped The Secret life of my Secretary)
2. I also don’t think I’m a fan of the FL, the only drama I ever like with her on is Temperature of Love, and that’s mainly on Yang se-jong
3. didn’t feel the fantasy aspect in it, something off or missing.
4. I found myself wanting to skip to the story of the side characters, the loyal best friends, secretary, 2nd couple. ( I didn’t, just felt like it)

I survived by skipping…forwarding….skipping…just keep forwarding!
The only character development was the best friend who got divorce.
The other characters played their roles so well I even prayed to all the Gods that none of them have a happy ending except her Dad. Alas, I wasn’t granted and they got back together, I should’ve stopped when they broke it off and cherish that moment forever and just imagine yuan song happily with the one who deserves him.
The logic of Mingming with professor He falling in love was weird, I honestly don’t know how that happened. Their interactions and conversations was more of an acquaintance running into each other….she was just as annoying as her uncle.
If you don’t like long break ups (I’m talking half of the series and there’s 41 episode) 2ndML you’d want to kill yourself, side couples who in my eyes was just weird and didn’t make sense (no I don’t mean the age gap) and writers just added it there for cute moments but she was not.
Skip this drama.
I’m not into slow paced, slice of life drama, but once in awhile a drama will actually captivate my interest per episode and I’ll keep watching without skipping.

Watch the first 20 episodes, skip everything with 2ML in it though.
Skip epi 22-38, but if you don’t want to, just skip everything with 2nd ml again, he had waaaaayyyy more screen time than the ML all throughout the drama FYI.
I even skipped all the side characters.

Or just skip this drama all together. 2ml will only give you high blood pressure.

I would’ve given this a higher rating if it wasn’t for the misunderstandings, miscommunications, miss-encounters, near-miss a lot of things, ending any questions with “never mind”. There were too many that it was the only thing making the story move forward.
A few thought that it dragged after the latter half of the show, it was the opposite for me. After the 2nd episode it was so dragging I got so bored…all because of the “near-miss” crap. Almost dropped it around epi 11. I pushed through it, and thank goodness it got a little better. All in all, it’s ok to watch. I would’ve skipped it if I knew there was going to be so much misunderstandings, I can’t stand them when it’s the only thing driving a drama.
On The Legend of the Blue Sea Jan 27, 2022
I’m contemplating if I should drop this. If it wasn’t 20 episode I maybe able to endure it, say 12-14 episodes.
1. I’m ok with leads who are naive, a little innocent but this is over the top. She can learn any language overnight but her character was equivalent of an IQ of 1 and of a 10 year old who has a crush on a 17 year old oppa who has a gf. As time went on, there’s some character development but not much, she still has no manners and too naive as if living with mermaids were like that…I highly doubt it. I’m glad her voice was not a screeching hyena which made it bearable unlike other dramas.
2. Modern LMH fell for her naive, stupid, no manners, childlike character which didn’t make sense, they had nothing in common…THEY DIDN’T UNDERSTAND EACHOTHER and continue to do so.
Joseon characters we see how they fell
for each other and made more sense. They had better understanding of eachother.
Modern characters chemistry was dry as
a desert.

I may watch a few more episode and see how it goes, and update/edit review if I finish this drama.
On Doom at Your Service Jan 26, 2022
My favorite character was the Female God and Cha, for so many reasons.
Well it started strong and promising, Then it dragged with constant back and forth of parting, love you, decide not to love, love me, don’t love me….conversations here and there. I’d understand if it was a slice of life drama hence draggy convos but this wasn’t, it’s supposed to be a fantasy drama.
Although you guys will like the ending, one again it was a bit draggy and lacking.

I don’t understand the good rating, I usually will end but to each it’s own, but really I don’t understand.
On One Spring Night Jan 22, 2022
Am I the only one who didn’t see any chemistry? Yes? Ok.
She goes in to his work in such a disarray, hangover, and down right mean but he was smitten the moment he laid eyes on her. Love at first sight.
They just fell in love, but never really showed how or why they even like each other.
I decided to watch OSN because people says how much it’s almost similar to SITR. The only similarities are a few actors, and the classic Asian Taboos, in this drama being a single parent.
SITR was not perfect, that break up and ending irritated me, but I felt their passion and chemistry, you can tell they are in love. OSN didn’t do it for me.
Overall, I don’t hate the drama, I don’t love it either. I’m not into slow burn, slow pace drama so just like SITR, I won’t watch it again.
I will gladly recommend to at least try and watch this drama, and see for yourself if you’ll love it or not.

I started writing a comment hours before this one, but it somehow turned into a review and it just kept going and going to the point I’ve realize I’m now writing a full on review. I got so frustrated I deleted it, because somehow I sounded like I hated the drama.
I don’t.
Let’s just say this could’ve been easily in my top 20 but the ending was so frustrating. I didn’t mean about the getting back together in the last few mins on epi 16. After junhee came back, she finally made the decision to leave everything behind just because her friend ask her to leave. I was like WTF was that. Then had the gull to give him a full story of the hardships she endured because she was once again spineless( which she only grew one at work btw) because the one who gave her confidence and love she thought she deserved left and so took all the punishment she thought she deserved. I was speechless, he at least deserve an apology not this crap she’s spewing. The mom, I get why people are hating, my mom is EXACTLY the same…except I’m not stupid and spineless like jinah. Yes it is a culture thing….as far as I know mostly Asian Culture ….not really just Korea. I’m American, my mom is Asian. They will never change, so I understand why there was no character development when it came to her mother. They covered a lot of TABOOS in Asian culture, and I appreciate the writers for that.
The show was good overall, just felt like they should’ve done a better Job with the last few episodes, as they could've made plenty of time for it instead of having 2-3 minutes scenes of hugging or walking or
staring at nothing. These scenes were wonderfully directed, coming from someone who is not into slow burn melodramas, but the time and effort should’ve been put into something more significant.
I made this long again, but at-least much much shorter than my first draft.
