Before I decide to watch this, can anyone tell me if the love triangle or square or whatever it sounds like there…
I don't think we're far enough into the show to be able to answer this tbh. There's basically been no real romance so far. ML and FL eventually getting into a romance is mostly based on assumptions (it seems likely thats where the story will go tho). Most of the frustration seems to come from people feeling that 2FL has more history/chemistry with ML and that Gong Seungyeon is simply the better actress. I half-agree with this but I also think we should wait to judge fully. There is a lot of backstory they could reveal in coming episodes and plenty of development to be had for Nara's character
Am I the only one who love both FL & doesn't bother if Hwal end up with either of one? This drama is so much more…
Yea tbh i would be 100% fine without romance in this show. The found family dynamic is one of my favorite tropes so I'm more invested in that anyway. I also really love Sangwoon and Siho's sisterly bond
The ratings rose a little again for episode 6 but they still seem lower than they should be.. I wonder if part of the reason is that a lot of koreans are watching it on netflix instead? Since it started airing it has consistently been the top 3 or top 4th show on south korean netflix
The logic doesn't make sense though. This dude took his weak wife who had just lost a baby, and a literal blind…
He took his wife and son because they were connected to the curse and Hwal was under the assumption that bringing them was necessary to free them of it.
I'm not gonna claim he hasn't made bad decisions but I'm confused by your comment. This all happened 600 years ago.. At that time he hadn't "lived for 600 years" so how is that relevant here? Unless you're referring to other occurences of him being dumb?.. In which case why not bring up those specific instances?
Lee Joon blew me away in episode 5! I was already enjoying the show a lot but his performance makes it so much better. I got chills during the dinner scene. Its the same feeling I had with Gong Seungyeon in episode 1. The world and cinematography grabbed me but in terms of acting she was definitely the standout for me. As much as I like Nara and LJW I kinda understand why people say they're being overshadowed a bit (so far atleast). I still love the whole cast though. Shoutout to Wooseok and Jung Jinyoung's great dynamic in episode 5 as well
I'm so unbelievably excited for the next episodes! feel like things are gonna ramp up and we'll be out of trailer territory pretty quickly. I have no idea whats going to happen after that and that both excites me and terrifies meðŸ˜
The show is a masterpiece in the making but i do think they kinda screwed themselves over with the romance tbh.…
I definitely agree with this. Nara (both the actress and her character) are kinda fighting an uphill battle right now. I'm sure they will slowly build on her character and the relationship between her and Hwal. But right now Seungyeon's performance; her chemistry with ML; and the emotion in her character(s) makes it hard not to root for her
tried to fix it just now but the part of the twin sister doesn't get deleted....
I think it has to be approved (makes sense or any troll could just cause chaos) but its weird that it hasn't been fixed yet. Her role list is a mess rn lol
Both twins are reincarnations of the bulgasal. The surviving twin has the soul. The one that died had the memories
They were sisters in a previous reincarnation. We saw a glimpse of that in episode 4 as well. I don't think there's much to her character other than giving Sangwoon the key to defeating bulgasal (with another bulgasal)
Why is Gong Seungyeon listed as also playing the twin Sangyeon?? I already submitted an edit but the fact that it was added in the first place is kinda silly
