The director, action director, Cinematographer, and screenwriter all worked on KinnPorsche. This first episode had all the KP vibes with the colors, use of mirrors, lines, framing, and walls.

In the first few episodes he was spending some of his time working so Zendaya probably allowed him to work remotely for part of the trip.

There are so many layers and twists to the story. Absolutely loving it.

Spot on. There are so many references to Faust in this series - including the krautrock band in episode 1. The aesthetic and vibe is great, and much different from your usual Thai BL. Love the acting especially Atom's.

That scene and JH's face gets me every time.

I think healing and acceptance are big themes for the show and the character arcs. The fact that Jae Won is able to forgive them, accept the past, and move on is part of his overall story.

The more I think about the ending the more I realize that Eiji and his father were the ultimate losers. Eiji got a child but his final scene shows him sobbing after he sees Makio's photo. He lost his true love because of his betrayal (he and Meiko secretly slept together behind Makio's back). Meanwhile, his father wanted a son but, in fact, got a daughter. Makio got a boyfriend who is truly looking out for him and Meiko got a daughter that she can look after.

They all move on at the end. Makio and Eiji find closure after meeting at the restaurant. Then Makio decides to meet Meiko's daughter. When they part ways at the end, he bounds up the stairs with the old energy he used to have. They all still have feelings for each other but it hits differently now. Life happens and you must adapt to it.

This is a little masterpiece. Mork reflected in Tiew's eyes at the end captures the whole essence of this show.
