Well said. That’s why I hope people give this a chance and don’t just think it’s another survival story. It is that, but it so much more. This really makes you think.

I have found myself searching the net for more meanings behind the games and additional stuff that may have been left out in the series. And, I will definitely watch it again now that I know what clues to look for. Plus, I could watch Usagi dodging and jumping around all day. The actress who played her deserves huge credit because it appears like she did a lot of stunts herself.

I think I went into this expecting something like Squid Games, and got something totally unexpected. The games in the first season were brutal and more fun to watch then in the second season, but there were still some fun ones with the face cards. My favorite was King of Clubs. You got to respect a nudist! 😁

She seemed to be the only one pushing it, which I think speaks more of her character and where she’s at mentally. Her whole arc felted rushed to me,

I feel like they answered this with Aguni who just flat out said I am surprised to still be alive. 😀 Like even he wasn’t sure how he made it…lol. Plus, the burned guy and just Arisu being so lucky. Rather it is fate or whatever, some people were bound to live. How they live now is the question. Really good series. Makes you think.

Having finished both seasons, I want to say any comparisons to Squid Games is superficial. There is another story being told here. Definitely worth the investment.

Okay, I totally agree after episode 9 a hard reset should have occurred. Finally the ML was able to confront the FL and vent, which is what he needed for catharsis. It would have been nice to see him move on, but like a hamster he gets right back on the wheel of pain. The FL continues on as usual, but she is more pitiful. Still…the acting is why I cannot drop this. I am invested enough to see it through to the end. Only 5 more episodes. But, for my two cents, this could have been a drama where they both moved on with different people after realizing that brief moment between them was just that — a moment. I think the drama suffers by having a lot characters, but no 2nd ML or 2nd FL.

I am so glad I read this. I usually like the actress playing the FL, but she is really not someone I can root for. Still….I can’t seem to drop it. I will see how I feel after episode nine.

I am not sure why I am still watching this, but I cannot seem to turn it off. I think it’s because I like the actors and it kind of cute…but it’s a bit of a slog. The ML and FL finally meet again at the end of episode six, but I cannot remember anything that happened between episodes 2-5. Like hours of this drama have been watched but I cannot tell you a thing about it.

Heavens to Murgatroyd!!! I finally finished all 20 episodes. It was entertaining…on some level, but it had too much going on. It was like a gigantic, frilly, expensive gift wrapped package with nothing inside. I am not sure if this drama wanted to be a mafia redemption story, long lost relationships story, or a straight out action series because it didn’t do anything particularly well. The series just looks good..and that is about it. Still, t’s a decent watch for 20 episodes and if you get lost don’t worry about it,

Agreed. I have watched this twice. Once on Viki and then on Netflix. Dialogue completely different, but still awesome. The Red Sleeve made me Jun Ho fan, this made me love the dude for life!

Same… Like none of characters grew on me. Just really blasé.

I am glad I am not the only one who feels this way. So many people love this, but for me it’s a bit of a snooze.

Honestly…I made it to midway through the sixth episode….then I turned it off. I love the ML, but there is just nothing else there. This comment made me turn it on again, and I will keep trying because right now I have nothing else to watch..

Almost a year later and an 8.9 is what I think it should be, though that is a bit low.

Alright…after several false starts I am going to binge this entire drama this weekend. I can never seem to make it pass the second episode. 🤞🏽 I make it through.
