Lei Yi Fei was an Undercover police officer. In Epi-9 DC told SY that Lyf solved a human trafficking case. They tried to find about Lyf but could only found Lyf childhood pic.
M tricked Shen Yi into drawing Lyf adult face, which led to Lyf exposed. That's why Shen Yi stopped painting for others and became Police Officer to capture M who used him as tool in Captain Lei death.

Hyx has a solid plot. Fans who read novel knows the truth. Its LA is already an adaptation without any lgbtq+ tag. Fb melon about 'hyx into bg drama' didn't make any sense. Its already been rumored more than once, from last year. There is No guarantees in those rumors. Its just some anti source clowning fans as often.

Love is love, I respect every community. I myself mostly likes to watch adapted bl with bromance & friendship. I haven't even watch Kp yet. Its Cdramas, I never felt any difference between watching a bl & bg in adapted dramas. Its bromance is good.
Its actually unnecessary to make fans wait by banning any adapted bl dramas. Bg dramas nowadays seems like often showing off that they can do anything freely without restrictions, whether its a violent scene or intimate scenes.
