I saw the reuters for the kissing scene,and they have a proper kiss,so if you don’t see it until eps 30 ,then they definitely cut it

I know this trend and i find this disguting since they really ruin great ml character,this it one of his highlight,and if you read the novel,simu will has plenty of time to save him later in the drama… c ent is notorious for ruining the second half of the drama lately,and reducing the ml as only dude in distress.. duan xu seem get back on track lately,but i have trust issue for c drama,idk what they will do or how many highlight they will take away from duan xu,left him as a dude in distress who only save by the fl….i hope i’m wrong,but someone never know,if this happen,are you okay with this?

But since you also read thr novel,don’t you feel there a problem about how the ml presented in the drama? I remember you said,you don’t feel he is weak in the nove while he in the void,because he does not act as puppy,more like naugthy and flirty…. When i read review for the novel,everyone always admire duan xu’s character,sometime even more than simu,no one question why a powerful ghost king like simu loves a mortal like him,and ppl think both of them are different and similar at the same time,and a soulmate despite come from different world… both are the strongest from their respective world,and seen as op and equal at some way,not in power,simu definitely stronger since she has spiritual power,she even save duan xu several times,but no one including me seeing duan
xu as dude in distress who only need saving…. Imo Duan xu is calm and mature beyond his age in the novel, his smiling face only to hide his darkness,he is resolute and unwavering both in his ambition to conquer the 17 provinces and his love for simu,his ambtion is as important as his love,he has so many blood in his hands and see how his people oppressed by the northener,so this is his redemption,he won’t give up for anything,and i feel simu drawn to him because of his strenght in character,not in his power
But in the drama, he seem so ooc during the void
arc,change to love brain puppy,and keep getting in trouble,while in the novel he can hold his own and go back to his own world without causing trouble for simu,he went to the maze and simu try to save him,but he already near the exit when simu find him,and this show his resourcefulness,also made him equal to simu at some point

I read the novel and tbh i don’t like how the ml written in the void arc,seem so ooc,he seem much more calm and collected in the novel,even when he is in different realm,i guess you are right with skipping this part

And what bother me they feel it’s normal to disguistingly degraded the ml.. imo they don’t have to do it here since the fl is stronger than ml to begin with,and he only has his wit,resorcefulness and independence to survive,if it taken from him,than what’s left in him? Since the drama decided to humanized him more than in the novel,hope can see him growth and getting stronger,and not vice versa… tbh i get it why you love LaP so much,since ml like li xun is rare today c dramas

He is,that’s why i feel she hurt him too much this time,if the roles is reversed i wonder if ppl will think the ml is a red flag,but no one said anything since simu is a woman… if you are Lap fans,you know how many ppl consider li xun as red flag,since he tried to push zhu yun away,for her own good yes,but still in the tough way that broke zhu yun heart

Since someone who never read the novel feel duan xu behaviour in the ghost world as normal…Yes i also feel duan xu is someone who smiling to hide his pain… agree with you that he is not a cy like puppy in the novel,he is clever,observant,learnt very fast,calm beyond his age,and has strong survival instict… i also feel he is not very normal person in the novel,more like superhuman at some point,like the best among human in every ways,despite being in the new realm,he still calm,adapted,and learn everything so fast,despite his limitation as a human,but the drama made him more human and vulnerable in the guixu arc,idk why,maybe in order to highlight the fl

He is actually not supposed to be realistic since he actually describe as the best among mortal,he is different with normal human,better in everything…i think someone who read the novel and not will has different perpective about him,you see his behaviour as normal,but someone who read the novel like me will think he is weaken at some point in this arc… he never got that cold poison in the novel,and can find the exit in the maze,when simu find him,he already in near the exit,this made him equal to simu at some point… he is not supposed to be very normal in thr novel,in the drama they humanized and weaken him,but i get it for someone who never read the novel will like this and find this is more realistic,since they never see what he supposed to be in the novel… my only hope of they will not weaken him any further than this,since their gap is already very far to start with,and some c dramas like to weaken the ml to highlighlt the fl

As someone who read the novel,do you feel duan xu weaken in the drama? I feel in the novel,he is not weak even in the guixu arc,he is very clever,can hold and defend himself there.. someone said here his behaviour in the ghost world is normal since he is new here,but i always feel he is more clever and learn fast in the novel,also more mature because of his childhood experience

While i understand why she doing this to push him away,she hurt him a lot in the process… this is not in the novel and i don’t get it why they must add this in the drama other than give more dogblood

What i don’t like it’s that force kissing scene,especially what simu said after that,i know she did it to push duan xu away,but she hurt him so much in the process, she know he has abandonment issue and she said it on his face… i hope she is not keep doing this and will be nicer to him later,since it will be hard to rooting for the couple if someone keep hurting the other one
