It is just bitterness. Traffic star fans are always like this; they somehow think only the dramas their favs starred in can be #1. Non-fans viewers aren't watching their dramas so there is nothing they can do about it. The top dramas in China from viewership to positive rating (especially the ones that win awards later) aren't starred by any of these traffic stars so their only "achievement" they can hold on to is heat index and how much ads are in each episode.
It is also not like for example Li Landi's first 10K heat index break either. She already achieved this on the platform Youku for "The Starry Love" back in 2023. And that drama was massively targeted in the beginning too.
I also don't get why these traffic star fans are trying to act righteous when a lot of these traffic stars' come up in popularity aren't clean. They are either heavily invested by platforms, pay tons of money to generate videos to go "viral", buy hashtags and generate controversies to be talked about, etc. Especially the ones that had no acting background and came in as influencers.
