I really like this drama, I enjoy each and every episode of it. However, I'm confused. There are a lot of things that give me an uneasy feeling as well.
The present Na Hee Do and the past one are too different (same for the actors). I understand that she was young and people grow up, but she it's like a totally different person. Na Hee Do is treating her child almost as similar as to how her mother treated her. The ending of episode 10 was the "pinnacle". I understand that what she said was in some way true (that everything is momentary), but her not remembering anything from her past, when she wrote a diary every day, just gives us the vibes that the past we're watching is irrelevant to the present, like it's a waste of time. Also, when will there be a time-skip to when they will be FINALLY age 25 and 21? There are 6 episodes left and it looks like the next episode will continue from where we are right now...
Sorry for the long message. I just had to put everything on table about my feelings for this drama so far for myself.
I really like this drama. However, we're already in episode 9 and there wasn't a time skip yet. Suddenly the name of the drama (2521) doesn't make sense when the characters are still 18-19 and 22-23.
I'm in episode 9 and it's getting depressing each episode... Are things getting better for sales team 3 at some point? It feels like everything is going badly for the MC / team lead.
Such an amazing masterpiece. So far it receives 10/10 from me. I'm not a fan of love-quarter (or love-pentamerous in this case considering the assistance as well), but the writers did such a good job that I just don't care who will end up with who as I came up to love all the characters. 6 episodes left. I really hope they will keep the good vibes and won't ruin it in the end.
Ye rin is a horrible person. Everyone have the potential to change but doesn't mean they will. She became and…
Ye Rin being a horrible person is out of question. What I said was about the lack of the writer to write proper characters. Ye Ri had the potential to grow and change, as a character, and he/she basically ruined it. Right now what she did in the last episode doesn't really make sense. It's just stupid, there is no real reason behind her acts. There are many evil characters in different dramas that their acts have some logic. Ye Rin's character is just stupid.
=Might content spoilers= The characters in this drama are written very poorly. This is quite disappointing... I just can't like the ML and FL or their relationship. It also feels like the writer forcefully trying to make Ye Rin a bad person. She had the potential to change but they ruined it in the last episode.
He is not a victim at all. He never understood her fiancé.He loved her, but he loved money and he is a coward.…
I think you're a bit too harsh on him. He's not a victim nor a culprit. He's just a coward as you said so. We can truly see that he loves her, but he's more scared of what people think/what his mother thinks than love her. I'm not sure about the "left her"part, I think it was her who left him. Also, I can't be a fan of the FL in this drama. She did many things wrong imo. She was always very cold to him (I mean, if you don't love him, why marry him then?). She always put herself before their relationship (just like he did btw). I don't find her "attractive" enough to say that he doesn't deserve her.
I cant see her fiancé was a jerk. He's a victim here. He's hurt as well. I feel sorry for him.But for Ye Rin,…
Yea well, after seeing the last episode that came out I'm really disappointed. The writer could've done much better job with developing the characters on this drama, especially with YR and the principal's daughter. I would love to see them "change", but so far it doesn't look like it's gonna happen.
I cant see her fiancé was a jerk. He's a victim here. He's hurt as well. I feel sorry for him.But for Ye Rin,…
I see him as a jerk for not letting his woman "be herself", there were times that it seemed as he was looking down on her, even though he really loved her. I find Ye Rin as an abused kid that has a good heart inside.
As much as I want to, I just can't like the relationship between the MC and FC, it gives me cheating vibes. Even though her fiancé was a jerk, I feel shit for him, and tbh she was really bad to him as well. I know it won't happen, but I still prefer Ye Rin x BSY.
Am I the only one that ships the MC with Ye Rin instead of the FC? I know it won't happen though, but I like the plot of an evil-like girl that falls in love with the guy and changes herself (if you have a drama with that plost, please recommend it to me! :) )
Finally the plot is starting. It was way too long in my opinion, they could've done it within 2-3 episodes I believe. Preview for episode 7 looks so good!
It started good but then it was getting worse and worse as it continued. They could've ended it after 12 episodes but they dragged the plot too much. Also one think I noticed is the low level of acting from the actors. I'm usually very impressed with the acting of the actors in kdramas but this one was awful (except 2-3 characters). There were also quite a lot of childish moments (last episodes gave me so many cringe vibes). In the end I gave it 7.5/10 since I did enjoy it until episode 9-10.
Unfortunately, this was getting worse and worse.. The last few episodes I almost couldn't finish it, but then I just noticed it has 12 episodes, so I'm glad I'm able to finish it at least.
I don't understand in what scenes did Da Bin disappear without a reason? They can't believe the text messages…
Thanks for the reply. I did read the whole thing as I was curious and pretty much want to change my point of view on this drama.
Refering to Da Bin, I'll accept what you're saying on the recital scene (even though it's being too specific for the kindaping plan to work, not taking notes of other posibilities like her not actually going out from the room the that specific hall she was shown a few hours before). But I can't accept the restaurant scene. Her leaving the table right after her father clearly told her to stay doesn't make sense. This felt like the writers tried to "push" the feelings of her being kidnaped again to the viewers without any thinking behind it.
Following Ae Rin and Kim Seo Jin, when she came to his office she told him about something that happened only between him and his wife, and he never told it to anyone (it was a fight between them, Da Bin was also mentioned there). It should clearly light a warning to him that something is not ordinary in this woman, but not in the crazy way. Now, if you take Ae Rin's actions towards Kim Seo Jin, warning him that his kid is gonna get kidnapped tons of times - It doesn't really make sense thinking that she will kidnap her. Even if you asume that she's mentally ill or something, there is no real record on her being like that. To me, it feels like everyone is "closing" their eyes to the whole picture on her case (including Kim Seo Jin), thinking she's just crazy and a kidnaper.
I'll accept what you're saying on Kang Hyun Chae.
One thing I do believe is good in this drama is the casting. The actors are doing a great job. I really hope things will change for me to the right way (I really liked the first episodes) if I keep watching it, but I'm really close to drop this I must say.
I don't understand in what scenes did Da Bin disappear without a reason? They can't believe the text messages…
I didn't miss that part but then again, that's a guess that he actually showed her that specific hall. and even if he showed her, it doesn't really make sense that in the middle of the recital Seo Do Gyun gave to his man a signal to start preparing, and 5 minutes later Da Bin leaves the room exactly to where they wanted her to run to. This is just being too specific.
I don't believe the kidnapping plan was perfect. It just requires tons of "luck" which the writers give to the script so everything falls according to the plan. If you compare it to rl, I don't really see how it will work. But then again, it's a drama, right?
I don't get u and According to @cookiemonster I feel like anyone would have their doubts clear....coz it actually…
So because it's a time-travel drama, then it shouldn't have any logical thinking behind it? There are so many good time-travel dramas like Signal/Life on Mars or even Tunnel that were written much clearer than this one.
I don't understand in what scenes did Da Bin disappear without a reason? They can't believe the text messages…
All the scenes of Da Bin disappearing don't make sense. The first time was when she left without a reason in the middle of her mother's performance, and that's after she cried that she wants to see her playing the violion. There was nothing that could take her attention and start running outside exactly to the place she gets kidnapped. No one really told her to go there. The second one which really frustrated me was in the restaurant when her father went to buy himself food (which should take like.. 1 minute?) and when he comes back he can't find her and starts running everywhere to look for her. This scene was for the viewers to say "No! She got kidnapped again!" but to me it was all about "Oh.. Come on!!" and when he finds her she suddenly start crying by asking him if he hates her - Again, no reason!
Regarding the text messages - It's the same as when Han Ae Ri didn't believe him at first, but then he sent her the lottery numbers and a bunch of articles of stuff that didn't happen yet. They could easily see the date when the SMS were sent and see that something is unnatural here. These stuff did happen and it's this stuff that made Han Ae Ri start believing.
Kim Seo Jin being a dick to Ae Ri also doesn't make sense. It's clear that she didn't have any bad motive, or any intention really kidnap her. She also told him stuff that no one, even not the "best" stalker, could know about him.
I was talking about corrupted detectives in overall on Kdrama. There is always at least one in every team/police station.
The writers did a mess with the plot of this drama. The characters are also written bad imo. There is no much character development and Kim Seo Jin being so arrogant gives you the vibes that maybe he deserves a bit of what's happeninig to him. Kang Hyun Chae being so evil doesn't really make sense either. The way she hates Kim Seo Jin is f*cked up also.
I know that this is a drama and a "supernatural" one, but everything here is so unrealistic in so many ways that it dissapoints me.
This drama started really well but the last episodes have been f*cked up.. Almost everything doesn't make any sense anymore. The writers of this drama are messing everything that's so simple to understand? I'm so close to drop this one.
-------------------SPOILERS------------------- Why Kim Da Bin suddenly disappears every scene without a reason? Why all the detectives / Kim Seo Jin are so blind by not seeing how real are the SMS they write to each other? Why all the detectives in korea are corrupted? Why Kim Seo Jin doesn't answer his phone calls but when he's in an accident he knows how to call. The obsession of Seo Do Gyun to Kang Hyun Chae is also too much. That's not love, but craziness.
However, I'm confused. There are a lot of things that give me an uneasy feeling as well.
