I mean seriously. WHAT. A. SHOW!! Like what a frikkin show.. Every time I think it is the limit of feels it could give to anyone, some scene comes and breaks the previous scene's record.. Deserves 9.2! Deserves more! This show has taken me hostage.. It should win big in awards otherwise I'll assume some sneaky stuff goes on in those awards.. I can easily, in fact very easily say this is better than Healer, Pinocchio, Goblin, Weightlifting Fairy and My Love from Another Star.

Okay. I am completely in love. The melancholy ambiance, the dark setting, the solid story, the depth of each and every character, amazing OSTs. I mean... It is perfect. And both Lee Sun Gyun and IU take a bow! Never have I seen characters so dejected, demotivated, hopeless and sad yet trying their best to survive given their circumstances. How beautiful and thorough are their expressions. Not to mention the fuzzy feeling every family moment gives. Be it the brothers and the mom or JA and grandma or the bond of coworkers.. So true to life. It is in essence the struggle of a normal person. Just when I thought Just Between Lovers was the pinnacle of great plot, comes along this masterpeice. This show in the Walk of Fame of my heart.
Im completely okay if romance is there, Im completely okay if it isnt. But whatever it is, there are only a few dramas that suck me in enough to write a lengthy comment on MDL otherwise most of the time I am just happy smiling at other MDLers nice comments abt other shows that I like.

I beg to differ. A Pakistani remake would not be nice and no subcontinent remake of a korean drama can be half as good. It is too much to ask of these actors to reach the standard of Korean acting and to compare Abbas with Song joong ki is wrong lol.. Imran abbas is too stiff
Guys can anyone please shed a light on the romance element in this drama? If its there on the sidelines? And if it is, exactly how much part romance has in the show?
And omg that date in episode 11! The date that wasn't a date but looked better than an actual date! I have seen dates on dramas, we all have! But none triggered my feels as Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young in their date where they did mot even see each other! The hand-holding bit and the expressions!
