On surface I admit she didn't flirt with him but, she didn't draw a line between him and her either. especially I wouldn't call hiring the one who is constantly trying to flirt with you a "rejection"

it's interesting for me that nowadays in cdramas it has become a normal thing for FMLs to flirt with any man and the ML must be ok with it otherwise he is a red flag, but when the ML is just talking ( not flirting) with another woman except FML he immediately becomes jerk.
