I don't think that Eun Ha's character is that bad or weak so far. I mean, of course in the beginning (and so far)…
I noticed your comment after sent mine, and i tought that wow, we really are in an exact same opinion :D You wrote yours as nicely as me, i just tend to writing novels when i am commenting. Can't keep short. :D

Enjoyable drama-watching to you! :)

I don't think that Eun Ha's character is that bad or weak so far.
I mean, of course in the beginning (and so far) she was kinda naive and easily-manipulated, but it's kinda understandable because she was so outsider from the (rotten) world she got into, basically doesn't know much about how to live in it, survive in it - on her own. And don't forget that the only person she knew (and the only person who knew about her) was Seok Hoon, of course she depended on him so much. I agree with that it was a little too much (and nerve wrecking) that she believed him continually even after his uncountable dirty tricks and lies..

BUT it's only the middle of the show, and i think the main character-development will starting now, it seems she slowly realized how this world work and will use her brain, make some confident move finally.

It would be rather odd, if her character adapted quickly to the new atmosphere where she knew nothing and nobody, and suddenly became a badass woman who threating the villain and solve every problem by herself. She was actually never that confident or badass in her 'original life' either in the beginning, so i am quite understandable with her.

Be patient people, we are only in midway! :D

Oh, and everybody's grandmother Kim Young Ok! :D
I feel like i see her in every singe drama even if it just for few seconds! (Falling for Innocence; Marriage, Not Dating; Bride of the Century; Haeundae Lovers; Protect the Boss... etc etc.) She is everywhere! :D
Wiam Najjar Jun 23, 2015
What a great article, I agree with every words of yours! :)

I think Kim Mi Kyung is one of the most (if not the most) multi-faceted actress in Dramaland. As you wrote, she was such an entertaining-to-watch character in The Master's Sun with her husband. Also in the Heirs, she acted her role as a disabled mom perfectly (- the drama was still awful tho.) And then when i saw her in Healer in a totally different yet perfectly matching role - i was blowminded. :)

Younger actresses can learn a lot from these beautiful and talented ladies!

PS: I hope you will mention Kim Hae Sook later, she can't be missing - that acting in Hotel King thooooo. :D

I really wanted to like Sung Joon acting here, because his Hyde, Jekyll acting was quite a disappointment, but i can't. :(
I'm starting to thinking that he can't really play "bad" characters yet, not enough experiement or what but i can't believe his character here, neither in Hyde, Jekyll. He acts with the same "Look how bad person i am" face, pressing his mouth and frown his eyebrows... but it's just not working...

I have to drop this anyway, it's kinda predictable so far and i can't see anything new in the plot. Maybe when it ends i will go through the overall reviews if it's worth watching, because by 4 eps, i don't think so. :(

it doesnt worth watch worst drama ever !!!! ughghghghgh I didnt find anything intresting :|
You see that you are contradicting yourself, right? :D If you can say that this is the worst drama, than i take it that you saw the whole drama to the end. And if you watched it 'till the end, then you actually did find something interesting in it, something that made you watch it from episode to episode...

Oh God, when i started watching dramas, i've never thought that my worst nightmare in Dramaland will be such a thing called Amnesia. Every single time when they do it i am like "Shhhhh.... not again. Not agaaaaain!" *then facepalm overload*

And i am saying this, who haven't watched THAT many dramas (i am not over 100 in total), i can't imagine the others, whom saw a hella lot more. Poor things!

I think sometimes the acting and the scenes is a little bit more theatrical than they should be. Somehow i can't…
It's okay, i did not take it wrong, I just felt that my first comment was not really clear, and was mistakable because of it's shortness (i've actually wrote it in sudden, after i finished the episodes) , so i tried to explain it a little bit more. :)
I like to hear another people's opinion, so yours, and share different thoughts even if they are not on the "same side".
Sorry if i seemed huffy in my response, i was not! :)

Wow, that was an indoctrinate reply :D
Believe me, this is not the first drama i watch, not even the frist melodrama (Secret is one of my favorite dramas so far). Of course i know that they are fictional stories (who don't?!), but they ARE connected to the reality, they HAVE TO, becuse they are taking place in the world we are living. (Except fantasies, or sci-fies of course.) And this is a good thing, because this is one of the reasons why a viewer can "living in the drama" too, while watching it.
And another reason is how believable the actors can play their roles. I know that well, that korean dramas and their characters are tend to be a little overplayed (i watched hella lot of them for years, i noticed at least this much), but - by the first 4 episodes - i find this one and these characters a lot more noticeably theatrical, and more overly played than usual. Not every second of the drama, but in some scenes. And in these moment's i was put off from the whole mood (from the whole "living in the drama"), because i could tell that this is just an acting and this is an actor not her/his character. That was what i meant in my previous comment, but i just kept it short...

This is just my opinion. I am kind of a viewer who thinks that, a good drama (or film) can totally carries me with it, and i have to remind myself time to time that this is just an acting, because it is so believable.
(Sorry for a novel-answer ;)

I think sometimes the acting and the scenes is a little bit more theatrical than they should be. Somehow i can't go with the flow smoothly, because i found myself questioning the characters behaviour, all these too sudden and dramatic moves and acting makes it a little bit unbelievable and far-from-real.
But we will see, maybe this is just a starting trepidity, the story is interesting indeed so far, and the end is still far away. :)

Kang Mi Ho was probably the best character i've ever seen in dramaland. So original, so well-portrayed by Jung…
I'm watching Cruel City now! :) I'm already on the middle of the show, and i can tell that you're right! He portrays that character amazingly well too. I'm sure he will get an award some day, maybe for his another work. I mean, it is known in Korea, that awards are given because of the popularity, rather than the real acting skills. Which is somehow unfair of course. But now, he gained popularity thanks to this show, and he will have a chance to get the awards he deserves. :) We hope so.

By the way, i am loving this (Kang Min Ho) better than Doctor's Son so far, but that's just my taste, i like characters better whom has a funnier side too, but hands down, Doctor"s Son character was probably harder to act than this one. :)

The last two episodes were just a waste of time.
And how "easily" they get rid of the main villain is just ridiculous. I actually feel bad for him, he deserved a "better", or at least more dramatic last scenes and death. I mean, he was actually the center of the whole show, come on, they've chased him for so many episodes, and then just caught him in minutes (because of a FRAME, i-can"t-even.), and "killed" him in seconds. They could have done this better...
Except that fact, this was a really enjoyable drama.

I will miss him, and i hope we will get another memorable drama characters in the future like him. :))

This show is such an entertaining one! :)
Laughing my ass off, then feeling somehow gloomy and sour, then having an "omg, whatjusssthappening" moment one after the other... So well done drama so far, i hope it will keep its movement.
(And the best episode ending scenes what i've ever seen. Every-single-time.)

She is in my TOP3 favourite girls in Dramaland (with Park Min Young and Gong Hyo Jin)! :) Such a talented actress! I remember when i first saw her in the Innocent Man, i was so impressed how she portrayed that quite multiple character. Although i was a newbie in dramaland back then, and saw many dramas and great actresses since, that one still the strongest acting i've remember. :)

I liked your article, it's well done, girl! :)
I am interested now about her previous works, especially It's Okay, Daddy's Girl.
