People kept adding the Bad Buddy series to the Korean BL list (It was the only voting list I had initially). So,…
I'm not saying this because I'm a fan of Bad buddy, but because I've seen some bad Thai BL that would have made me stop watching too, but basing your judgment off just 2 episodes of a drama which a good number of people swears its a master piece is just bad judgment if you ask me. If you're gonna make a sincere judgment you should at least watch fully or make it past the first few episodes cos not all dramas have great starts. Except you just don't like Thai dramas generally then that's a different case.
just finished rewatching the whole series cause Love Mechanics with Mark & Vee "romance" is airing. and as 2 yrs…
Granted, the En of love: love mechanics was a bit messy but that was attributed to the short frame of time given to tell the story. I don't know if your feelings have changed since you posted this, but I just thought you might like to know that the remake is an absolute master piece. It's so well done and the best decision the production could have made to fix what was wrong with the mini. That being said, if the plot was your biggest issue, then maybe you might still not like it. But the acting, portrayal of emotions, the MLs amazing chemistry and cinematography is worth looking forward to it every Saturday. The actors really brought their A game this time. I hope you decide to check it out.
This is one of the first BLs I heard about when I started watching BL this year but I couldn't find it immediately…
Bas I could tell Bas was in love with Oh from the moment I saw him, the way he looked at him and was always ready to listen to him and be by his side. Everything about him was just so beautiful. The bed scene where Oh almost kissed him and then Bas asked Oh to hang out just the two of them, you could see the love in his eyes. And the fact that he's so shy but he actually confessed in the class in front of everyone. The love he had for Oh was just so pure. The way he wasn't shy to hold his hand in the street and the way he held his hand while staring at him in the restaurant. I wished they at least shared a kiss together, I knew it wasn't going to happen but I kept wishing for it. When he drove Oh to Teh's house and told him to go be with Teh, I cried so hard. He really just wanted Oh to be happy even though it wasn't going to be with him. I don't think I'll be moving on from him anytime soon.
This is one of the first BLs I heard about when I started watching BL this year but I couldn't find it immediately so I saved it for later. I just watched and it actually lived up to the hype. It's literally one of the most beautiful BL I've watched so far; the story is so well written and every character was spectacular. Each episode just had me tearing up so bad, sometimes I'm bawling, other times I'm laughing with tears. Every detail was perfect and the way the actors expressed their emotions with their eyes was really amazing. I haven't been able to move on from the ending yet cos I ended up falling in love with Bas. Why would they make a character so beautiful and perfect at the same time. He really tugged so hard at my heartstrings, I couldn't stop crying for him. I wanna talk more on Bas on the spoiler section.
This is gonna be my first Thai BL drama. Since my unfortunate experience with several Thai web series in 2015,…
I hope you haven't totally given up on Thai BLs. There are some good ones out there. If you don't mind me suggesting, Not me, Lovely writer, Kinn Porche, Love Mechanics, Bad buddy are some I find quite OK. You might not love them all but you will probably find something worth watching.
Light on me is my favorite Korean Bl, I remember how much it made my heart flutter and how it made me feel butterflies…
Of course, I see what you mean now. Tae Kyung and Da on really did have a strong bond even if they didn't end up together. It was really nice to see the impact Tae had on him and how much it helped him. I loved their friendship so much.

Thank you for responding. Yea, I noticed the production was trying hard to confuse the audience. But then I realized Tae Kyung always had a similar bracelet before he got one for Daon, I'm guessing it had the same inscription and that's where the title came from. But do you really think Daon was considered his first love? I felt he was just probably his first crush. Cause you would notice in the last episode where Tae Kyung and Shi Woo linked arms, he said "this is the story of my first love". All in all, it was a really beautiful show to watch and currently one of my favourite KBL. Although, To my star is still my no. 1 favourite even though S2 made us so sad 😔

Yea, on one hand, I love waiting for series to end so I can binge watch and save myself the anticipation, but on the other hand, I hate that I won't be able to interact as much cos everyone would probably have moved on to another series. Like I had so much I wanted to say about this series, that I had to create this account just for it. Please do you mind checking my comment? it's recently posted. I have a question there. Thank you.
Everyone moved on but I am still stuck here.Okay, I actually moved on too but this drama keeps a special place…
I don't know if to feel sorry that I was late to seeing this or to appreciate the fact that I found it at the perfect time, seeing as they just celebrated one year and I got to binge watch it in one weekend. It definitely now has a special place in my heart too and I don't think I will move on from it anytime soon.
I had to create an account just so I can comment on this show, because I had so much I wanted to say. Kinda made me miss YouTube comment section. I just finished and I really loved it so much. From the beginning, when Tae Kyung said "one of them is my first love" , I knew it was Shi Woo. There was just something so bright and beautiful about him. Secret crushes are one of my favourite tropes ðŸ¤. This show had my stomach in knots and butterflies and I cried more than I thought I would, cause the depiction of LGBTQ+ struggles felt so real. Loved how happy Daon was at the end and how comfortable he seemed with Tae Kyung and Shi Woo's relationship. I wanted to give him a hug so badly and I couldn't help but think he reminded me of RM from BTS. My favourite character after Shi Woo was Namgoong, he was so full of sunshine and practically carried the show on his shoulders. Towards the end I kinda shipped him with So Hee, I know she's not perfect but I didn't hate her. Now to my question, does anyone understand what the significance of the drama title "Light on me" is? Because I noticed the bracelet Tae Kyung got for Daon had the inscription "Light on me" on it, but they weren't end game so I didn't get why the inscription wasn't on the Keychains instead.
