i want to talk about the final scene of ep 8 bc i saw that not many people were talking about it. The scene that i want to talk about is basically the flashback of what actually happened between the grandma and ah jin when the grandma discovers the truth about why ah jin was approaching her. That scene really encapsulate the essence of what ah jin character is about, at least the part of her inner child and the relationship she has with love in general but most of her paternal side, we see that her first instinct in handling the situation is essentially what she does best that is manipulation trying to evoke some kinda empathy towards the other person for her situation mostly through tears, basically playing the victim like she always tends to do when handling these types of situations, but even though her words may seem like that at first there's actually a deeper layer than that bc she really its just a child wanting someone to love her looking for a parental figure that is actually good to her and that is through the grandma.
The fact that even when the grandma knows the whole truth and her intentions behind the meeting she still stands by what she says that she sees her as her daughter and that realization that ah jin has, that even though she did wrong the grandma forgives her and hugs her, that's what she wanted and needed the most. Basically that talk that the grandma does is basically what a parent tells her little child (kinda one of the first lesson that she never got) when they do something wrong; recognise that the action that you did was wrong and promise to never do it again, what ah jin doesn't know is exactly the possibility of that (she only knows that now matter how much she begged and cried she only ever receives a beating), she never actually knows what is the duty of a parent, that it's also embracing them again and does forgives her and simply hugs her bc she know what she did is wrong and that is all she needs to know that she wont do it again (“if you know what you did what's wrong and promise you wont do it again thats all you need thats good enough”) cause thats what a parent is supposed to do. The fact that the grandma just let its goes and just keeping that between them and i think she doesnt even think that was a possibility (my first though initially was that ah jin indeed killed the grandmother bc of the resentment she has with the role of a mother figure bc of her childhood and all of the parental abusive figures she had growing up) And that's why she says to jun seo mother i hated you the most when you were kind to me every once in a while bc i would be tricked by your kindness and start to fall for it, i was afraid of even having even a tiny bit of false hope and that's what scared her the most. The scene when we see her after the grandma leaves and we see her crying i think its one of the only moments we see her real tears bc it affects her bc that moment was represents this hope that she could actually have a good role model figure, a maternal love that she never had so i think at first she kinda of wants to told onto that hope but then she snapped back at her reality and think its not possible bc she never have that growing up. kinda on a side note i think she stayed longer bc of the grandma she longs that deeper connection of a parental figure and receiving that much love with her was that moment of hope.
thailand was ROBBED like wdym korea won the contest when james from thai lit all the time was taking the boxes and they kept showing us that, the korean team didnt have enough boxes but when they put the score they apparently had the same amount?, i think the scores were swapped and thailand should've won the game by far only bc the tv show is korean they won the game
so im currently on ep 4 and i dont understand a few things: 1-who is the lady that is evil and why does she hold a grudge for khemmira like did she do smth to her will they show us why? and in that scene i didnt understand what happened the soul of chayos the brother of peem like did he intertwined his soul with khemmira so that he would protect her i didnt understand bc he says he didnt want to work with the evil lady but his eyes were red and his tone of skin was kinda of the same with her so idk and in the end wtf happened with his character he was like good luck bye bye i dont understand why he give up so easily and what happened with his soul like he vanished. 2-chan the guy with glasses why does he suddenly has visions and stuff i domt understand the logic behind that and the jet how does he know master does he has like powers too? like what can he do and why and what is he learning from master the chanting? this are some questions that come up to me watching the series especially from ep 4 that leave me with a lot of questions i hope that someone will respond to me i know its kinda a lot but i dont really will understand the story if someone dont answer so please thanks for reading
