I like maiden holmes so much better then AGLM n probably GL but I’m still at ep 15, the FL n ML are strong leads, they compliment each other, the kind of FL I like without over domineering type like ban hua, sabrina chen is much more prettier then gabrielle guan n her acting is much more better too.
I have watched romance of tiger n rose too, yes u right, rx has pei heng kinda vibes, but even pei heng still didnt always give in to 3rd princess all the time, n rong xia is totally submissive to ban hua, so I like trotar much more then aglm also. Lol

Yes its unconventional ending, as ban hua has demanded starting from then on everything has to be on her terms,its clear she will be the one leading their new family household lol, poor neo. I would like to see him in another drama where he’s really strong ML and had strong chemistry with FL, unlike in this drama lol. Btw I’m already starting watching maiden holmes now (@ep 10) I like it so far, I like it better then AGLM, nice great chemistry between ml, strong ml protecting n care so much with fl, eventhough fl pretends to be male, there’s still gentleness on her as a girl, which ban hua doesnt posses at all lol.

Yup I just realise the main lead characters in AGLM n GL are totally the opposite side of each other thus the ml in AGLM are much more gentler, softer n submissive then the ml in GL. I was amused when ban hua teached rong xia archer, lol. Isnt supposed to be the other way around, it would feel romantic coz its a man’s trait, instead he’s good at playing zither, I just felt rong xia is too feminine, I think they have reverse role as male n female lol, thats why their chemistry is ackwardly felt unnatural, neo is very handsome, more then caesar wu imo but he’s not as charming and as attractive as caesar wu overall in their dramas.

Yes I agree ban hua’s family are one of the best family I’ve ever watch in entire cdrama, ban heng is very likeable much more then her sister, shen jin’s sister are step sisters from her father’s concubine, its natural, they are evil lol. The reason why like GL better then AGLM is the ML are way much more charming, cool, strong as a man then cheng an bo, both are submissive to their wives, but the general at one time has strong principle of his own that he opposed to his wife n showed his authority as the man of his wife, cheng an bo always threatened by his fiance and always give in no matter how ridiculuous his fiance demands are even in front of the court, so embarassing as a man, but this is combined with their lack of chemistry, I just cant feel their chemistry even it looks sweet, just felt ackward n stiff interaction between them most of the time.

Finally I completed, just like 10 minutes ago lol. For me general’s lady is better cause I like caesar wu better then neo huo, he’s not charismatic and as strong as caesar wu as general, even though he’s potrayed to be smart man, he’s too soft for a man, he’s scared of his woman rather then general who give in to his woman because he loved her so much. Ban hua is too domine ering as woman n wife to be, which is weird for me bcause its historical drama, Honestly I had a hard time finishing it, I just want to get it over with n be done with this drama.

I totally agree with u to compare her with park shin hyee of cdrama, but park shin hyee is cuter then her n I can tolerate her more then guan xiao tong lol, I’m at episode 34 n somehow I’m trying my best to try complete it by today so I can get over it asap n move on to maiden holmes. Lol

U are at the boring episode 14-15 (falcon tribe arc) try episode 16 n see if u can continue from there, episode 16 is one of my favorite episode, so satisfying. The only reason I like general’s lady much better than this one is becaus the main couple chemistry is so high intense natural, alot of swet, cute, natural,kisses, and the way the general’s look at her is really melting anyone’s heart. I dont buy the story plot n FL often annoying character as well, but overall general’s lady is much more better for me then a girl like me.

I try to convince myself n now I’m at 6 more episodes to go. I watched general’s lady too n I like the main couple chemistry way way much better then this one, the couples there married already by episode 10, n even the FL seems annoying but I take it as a nagging, spoiled wife which her husband doesnt mind n showed how much he really loves her. Ban hua in the other hand eventhough she’s already granted her marriage with rong xia she still playing hard to get girl, to make it worse their chemistry is really ackward n unnatural, topped up with those fish kisses, its become more unconvincing n not enjoyable to watch. I’m at episode 34 now n still not sold. This is non rewatchable drama for me n definetely not my favorite at all. Story plot can be weak/ light for me but main couple chemistry have to be there for me to help me carry on to complete it. This is flat boring drama for me.

Omg! I have exactly the same thoughts bout this drama, the FL is very UNLIKABLE! She’s supposed to be experience actress from her childhood n this is the 1st time I watch her performance. I’ve just realise whats wrong with this drama that makes me feel suffer to keep on watching it ( I’m at episode 30) its because its lacking of chemistry with the ML. Even with that many sweet romantic scenes, I just cant feel their sweetness romance. Sure the ML is very handsome n good looking n seems like perfect couple but the feeling is just not there. I came here after watching good bye my princess, I needed a light, sweet romantic happy ending drama to cure my heart after that full of tragedy drama, my choice was between this n maiden holmes, but after seeing so many positive good reviews about this drama I decided to give this one first. Now I felt like stopping this, still has another 10 episodes to finish... is this even worth it to complete it??

I somehow regret that I wasted my time to watch this, should have just watch the clips from youtube, its satisfying enough for me to watch zheng yecheng lol. Yup rosie’s best drama is still the romance of tiger n rose.

Confusing right? I guess its supposed to be happy ending as they are both inside the painting together, doesnt feel like happy ending for me, it left a sour taste mix of everything happy, sad, good n bad.

Her teacher is the one who change her appearance in front of the mirror while he said she needs to forget her identity as princess in order to get revenge so her enemies wont be able to recognise her, BUT the way its being executed just doesnt make any sense which I understand why most of us cant understand it, its gonna happen til the end, even the end I DONT UNDERSTAND IT what happen, how its happen, no clear explanation, producer, director expect all of us to understand ourselves their way of telling the stories of this drama.
If you like rosie good luck u might be able to tolerate her chacaracter. I just cant tolerate her as a princess who’s trying to sacrifice n do whats best for her people n country to be so stupid, brainless doing things without thinking and always end up being saved by other ppl, n to be such a jerk towards the ML who has done alot of things for her, ofc she changed later on but its way too late already, I have hated her character n the way its ended is againnn confusing...

Legend of yunxi, the blossoms at ruyi pavillion ( superb chemistry between main leads couple ), love and redemption, the sleepless princess, ten miles peach blossoms, ashes of love these are all ML deeply in love with FL to the point they are willing to sacrifice their life for each other.

I just finished watching it, n no he stays true to her until the end. He only loves her in his eternal life....so good and touching story

Yes shen jin father is brother to the emperor, same as xiu yuan father so they are cousin, but for xiuming, xiu yuan’s mother is the aunty of xiu ming so shen jin and xiu ming are not directly cousin...
