nice! because I dont want others to think this is an open ending, this is clear happy ending. I hate open ending, I usually avoid OE drama myself, no matter how good ppl says the drama is like till the end of the moon, the starry love, all OE drama that I dont think I’m gonna watch. I’m sure there are many like me too 😀

it has subtitles already, thats why I said its a solid happy ending, he also said that he’s preparing his 300 years wedding anniversary with orchid and want to suprise her. iqiyi or wetv already has subtitles available now for this 2 extra episodes. at the end of the 2nd one it even shows how DFQC managed to come back. Orchid as Goddes of xilan has ability to revive the death and cure illness also. so LBFD is one of the rarest xianxia drama with definite HE.

its not an open ending, it is a solid happy ending, theres another 2 mini episodes, 2 mins episode and 7 mins episode. the 2 mins ep is story told by DFQC about his marriage life with orchid for 300 years where they live moving in 3 realms, the dreams where DFQC experience in ep 31-32 its actually his future with orchid. Netflix doesnt have this extra episode. Iqiyi and WeTv both has this extra episode or u can search youtube as well to find the extra episodes.

its solved in ep 6, (very quickly), tian hao gonna reject her anyway and she will be given the antidote by the chubby guy and he will confess he has poisoned her with love potion. its just a comedy part. it will take process for them to fall in love since the guy is heartbroken and betrayed once. I’ve watched 6 other dramas and couldnt even continue some of it and always coming back for back from the brink.

yes its a pity that this FL character factor is affecting our enjoyment in watching this drama, otherwise its pretty good drama to watch, I’m still watching it now, its just I’m on the verge of completely losing my patience with the FL now after ep 22, I’m starting to watch other drama and try to slowly finish TLP somehow in between..

yes exactly, its her character like what u said self absorb, do first then think later and what worse it makes other ppl in trouble bcause of her, then realise after, then cry then feel sorry and repeat until 2/3 part of the drama, a wanna be heroine who always does thing without thinking and feel sorry after bad things happen because of her. Really?? I can tolerate this in the beginning of a drama, I’m already at ep 22 and still hate her character. I already regret why did I have to start watching this in the 1st place…I’m running out of patience every time this girl shows up, feels like a torture for me to see her, but then she’s the main lead.

Yes I hope she does get better, otherwise I dont think I can survive 40 episodes of her being childish n obnoxious most of the time. I realise I’m quite engaged with the story plot, I even look forward to wang qizi and wang churan as the 2nd couple more. So hopefully I can endure her so that I can finish this drama eventually..

I agree too, I thought “the dress” is actually the reason why she had to come to the valley to help retrieve it for her best friend, the next thing she did was actually wearing it?? n accidentally got it on fire 🤦‍♀️ I also thought could I went on watching with this typical childish FL? I’m at ep 15 now n feel like I could drop this drama at anytime, if her childish act doesnt stop anytime soon. Forgive me for agreeing with everyone her aesthetic is actually the least prettiest among the 3 actresses so its hard to let it pass by when she is acting cute cause it doesnt suit her. She doesn’t have the worst FL character, but acting cute, silly and proud of herself is just kinda embarrassing herself ..u have to be able to tolerate the FL to be able to continue watching it. Story plot wise is good, and xiao zhan performance is the reason I can keep it going until now.

sorry for the late reply, I just saw your message, anyway, yes of course later he retaliates n killed her in the middle of the drama, its gonna be spoiler here if u dont mind…but the bitch was resurrected later by her idiot sister lol. our dragon king got back all his body parts back in the end, its gonna be a satisfying end for all the villains, they got their bad karmas in the end. Its gonna be a satisfying HE. This is why I love this drama so much. Just like the title says back from the brink, n later becomes powerful duo of tian yao n yan hui together defeating all the evil ppl in the end.

yes I think u r right, I have started watching other drama today, lol. I cant enjoy watching it anymore, overall story and many characters are poorly written including the evil obnoxious FL mother, and weird step brother, doesnt make any sense to me. I give up for now, thank u for not making me feeling the only one who cant continue after ep 20. lol

my thought’s exactly! I do agree with you about yang yang performance here also. Something is just not there, it lacks something. Both leads character are almost the same, both are stubborn in their own ways. what are we getting here actually? its past the time where we should see some developments with their characters already.. its not my habit to put drama on hold especially when I like both actors and actress. I’m struggling to continue too here. I have even read spoilers about the end n dont think its what I’d like it to be, though its a HE, but somehow it looks like not gonna be satisfying after all the toxicity we get throughout this drama. Should I just save myself from wasting my time trying to finish it? lol

back here, after I fail to move on to watch other drama n prefer to rewatch BFTB again, but why the rating is still the same? it deserves higher rating. pls let neo n zhouye do another drama, I miss them as cp.

I’m exactly the same as you, at ep 20, feel exactly the same as you, I had to put it on hold now, cant bring myself to continue because I hate the FL character, I cant feel much chemistry as well between the main leads. its already half of 40 episodes, need 20 more episodes to go and wondering if I can take more bulls**** from the FL character… I like yang yang and wang chu rang but her character is just pure obnoxious for me… cant those writers write a better plot and characters for these awesome actors and actress? 😡

Yes his character will develop later, this drama is quite fast paced so it wont take long for it to get better, say by ep 5/6 you will start to like it.

Neo hou has grown alot since I saw him in act in a girl like me. I read also he is so invested in this drama then his other dramas, so devoted as tian hao, then I think ah no wonder he’s so outstandingly handsome especially when expressing with his eyes even though he has quiet dialogues. His chemistry with zhao ye is so amazing, like I said it needs 2 people to make it works. His gaze, his expressions definetely enchanthingly full of colours throughout the drama. I feel sad for him when ppl can’t acknowledge his best effort

I’m amazed with how neo hou can nail his character as this baby dragon tian yao, he made it so cute and adorable as baby dragon,so yeah when someone comment about him carry one expression all throughout the drama, I thought like whatt the?? Did that person skipping episodes all the way throughout the drama??? Lol 😂
