At this point, it feels pointless to keep watching since there’s no sign of improvement even in episode 9 teaser. Honestly, I’d prefer if the female lead ended up with the second male lead while the main male lead moved on to someone better. But knowing how typical K-dramas go, that’s unlikely. The writer will probably wave a magic wand, and suddenly the female lead will develop feelings for the male lead—only for them to end up together in the final episode

That was his true intention. He planned it perfectly just to make sure that ML is the bad guy when he introduces FL to his mother.

I think the same. PZ is just trying to achieve that. He is just straight up degusting.

It was all a step-up by SML to have ML mother see that FL is the girl he is after. So that when ML introduces FL his mother. She straight away hate FL by thinking she is using both of them. He just does not want the ML to have a easy way forward.

I don't think it's there in the novel. they have added it.

As per novel his arc has ended. There should not be any more interaction with SML if they follow the novel.
