Again what about reverse? Forgive me for asking, how will you feel if your parents hid a serious illness from…
so ?

Look I get that. But being away from home she felt disconnected and depressed. What she needed was the support…
the whole situation was wrong ,, her decision was wrong from start to finish and the casualty was that poor guy

Especially the ML, I'm gonna scold you because I'm angry about ghosting you for years. WTF. Kudos to the writer…
The ex fiancee was the most wronged character in the whole drama
he was with her at her worst time and she left him like that

no shade or anything but is everything okay in your family? cuz i don’t think you relate any characters who…
Again , My personal life has nothing to do with this drama and My family is fine
I have people around me loving me 24 /7
and I got disease before they didn't leave my side and they were tortured by my disease , it was harder on them than on me that's why I'm speaking from experience
not knowing is blessing to family who can almost die if they saw their child in pain
but I think most of you don't care about your loved ones pain at all

Because she was actually at more wrong, do you realise what would have happened if she actually had died during…
I don't think she made a mistake
her mother was the one who sent her to USA
Her family was fine not knowing about her illness
yes , they would have felt guilty if she died but that's her own decision as an adult woman who has a fiancee helping her
On Love Next Door Sep 15, 2024
I had a disease before and I saw how my mom was in more pain than I am and I wouldn't want to see that again ever
So deciding to keep illness secret and managing it for an adult person who has the resources and people to better help is way better than torturing your family and friends with your disease to feel the attention you seek

(You comment suits your username)Looks like you don't have anyone in your family or friends who loves you enough.I…
You don't have to be rude to reply on my comment
To each his own and you don't know me or my family to relate your personal garbage on my personal life
I would have told my family if I was sick but If I didn't They would Appreciate my survival and they wouldn't scold me as they did to her
they would say thank god you are okay and thank god that it passed and if I died then it's my fate and my decision not to tell,, I'm an adult woman, not a kindergarten child who needs care
I had a disease before and I saw how my mom was in more pain than I am and I wouldn't want to see that again ever
if you like torturing your family with you illness that's your life not mine

The only person That I feel has been severely wronged in this drama is her Ex fiancee
he was the one with her in the worst years of her life
he helped her throughout her journey to defeat the cancer
he was with her when she had depression
he tried to accommodate his life to her wishes
and what he gained from all that,, she left him and went back to her family without Thanking him
you were my partner at the worst time of my life so goodbye there is another person I like more
I feel his character was wronged so much
Yes, She doesn't love him
she loved her childhood friend but she should have left him then
she should have left him when she was sick not to make him care for her all that and just award him with her running away

They do seem to gloss over the uglier parts of cancer. But then I appreciate that they are in a society where…
She can't hide that ,, Stomach affect the shape of her body , the way she eats and what she eats and I didn't know any person lived on third of his stomach for years to be honest , My relative died few months after her surgery may allah have mercy on her

but she kept living on liquids? bcz here is 3 years later so probably with time they will be able to back to the…
In the drama they said they removed 70% that's two thirds of the stomach right so I think she can't eat proper solid food and not in that quantity
On Love Next Door Sep 14, 2024
The scene when she ate A deep dish of rice and solids then her stomach just ached a little that was nonsense because I know from a relative who had similar situation removed most of her stomach that she was living on liquids and smashed food ,, she didn't have stomach to hold all that food that the female lead just cleaned out of the deep dish
On Love Next Door Sep 14, 2024
I want for cancer patients everywhere to have happy ending in this drama
to give them hope
On Love Next Door Sep 14, 2024
People here are complaining that it's not Rom com
the drama is in its third quarter and that phase of sad news or breakup or whatever must happen in every Korean drama
also, it gives a deeper feeling to the story rather than just lovey-dovey romance scenes and superficial reasons for her to give up on everything and come back to her family
I think this drama became more interesting that way and impactful

I know those types of parents, they actually love their child too much but they see her as an extension to their own dreams,, they don't realize they harm her so they keep pressuring her to move forward as if she will achieve their own goal in life no matter how hard on their daughter
I'm not defending her mother but I'm giving a different perspective
she wanted her daughter to achieve every goal and to become the Steller daughter but found out that she was giving up on every dream without context
the cancer news is like a curse from heaven came down on her head, I mean the mother
she realized that she actually would lose her daughter forever

I usually don’t ship ppl but I don’t know why I’m shipping detective & ML.i really like when they r together
They can be helpful to each other in the future ,, may be the male lead can help solve the detective's wife murder case
I think he can learn medicine and become a nurse or something can also be helpful to the detective

I think that detective is the comic releife of this drama ,, and the reactions to Jeong Woo's actions are always hilarious
