Time to say hello to the other members of the "Waiting team". So... Hi everyone xD

Let some time pass? Maybe you're not in the mood to watch that kind of plot. Or you can read the novel if you really want to dig in and appreciate the serie. It's beautifully written.
But maybe It's isn't your cup of tea. I'm sure you'll find other awesome drama out there.

A brief summary: One month ago, a fanfiction of YiZhan (Xiao zhan and Wang Yibo) was published on AO3 (famous not Chinese platform), telling the story of them falling in love, XZ a transgenre and Yb a High-schooler. I'm not really sure about the story itself, I haven't read it but It seemed pretty popular. Xfx (Xiao Zhan fans) were shocked at the content (u know China isn't tolerant about some matters) and to protect Xz's, reported the fanfiction and the author.
The Police closed the account and maybe others that were publishing "offensive content". Some days after the platform AO3, where millions Chinese loved to go to share their works, discussions...was shut down. It was one on the only free "spot" for ppl that wanted to avoid the censorship.
The AO3 fans all blamed Xiao Zhan for the shut down because he couldn't "manage" and guide his 24 MILLION fans well. Bring to this fanwars the antis + the "paid" haters ready to slander Xz everwhere and you have a big mess...
Xiao Zhan become the bait - Haters make money on this crisis ( bad buzz > $$$ much more than good news) - the Ao3 community vent his frustration on Xz the easy target because they can't possibly go against the c-system (u know what I mean), - And antis /jealous ppl enjoying their time by spreading negativity....
Though 1) The "purge" and shut down by the Police had been already scheduled by China way before the report of xfx 2) Of course it's ridiculous to blame an ACTOR bc he can't "guide" (lol this word... his 24 MILLION of fans...Well I have so many things to say but I'll stop lol.

Toxic fans? Where? On Twitter It's pretty peacefull I think (I don't count the haters ).
The witch-hunt against our Xiao Zhan is more complicated that it seemed. Not just a mere battle between over-protective fans and defenders of subculture. I just hope our Xiao Zhan won't never change, he's eprfect the way he are and of course not at fault.

I feel proud too haha. And I'm glad that people still are interested in TU after so many months :)

Not really reassuring unfortunetly. All the comments preferring arguing on the 8.5 I've mentionned that to speak about the good points of this drama:o

So It seems that the Japanese love the first four episodes :) Tomorrow (thurdsay) we'll see if they'll still appreciate the show with the new eps.

Yeah, sometimes users rate 10/10 even before the show has started. Though here, more than 400 ppl have already rated it.

And? Should we share the same pov as BL's viewers? Fortunetly no. Though you can't even anwser my questions you haven't watched it. No point in arguing.

8.5 for a start is really poor. Look at 2gether for exemple. 9.1. It was the same for Than Type, Sotus, 2 moons, until we meet, History series, together with me, love by chance...Should I continue? They all start at 9.0.
When it's below, it's not engaging.

* Guys, I don't care if you find the 8.5 is high rating for you xD I have a different opnion. Though if the "8.5" is "good" for a BL, why only ONE person spoke about his good points :)

I've watched lots of BL drama, though I admit most of them are really so so and cliché (unfortunetly, but maybe in the future, they will have better plots & chemistry...).
Just my pov though, the best after TU, is Sotus the series - chemistry is pretty good, story is cute, secondary characters not cringey.
I like the two short HIStory2 series (not memorable but cute).
For yaoi (so with skinship) : TharnType, but if you dislike the "I want u even you don't really agree to it", don't watch it xD
And if you don't mind another Chinese bromance (censored too), there is Guardian :)
