I went to CCTV post and saw the replied there. It's the same ending with IQIY. It seems like i said earlier they were referring to the alternate/extended ending, not a different ending to the ones we already have.

I think back in 2020 or something like that. Chinese government made a ruling for dramas to mot exceed 40 episodes. It was due to alot of draggy unrelated scenes piled up to extend the episodes. Hence a maximum 40 episodes, with suggestion to have it even less than 40. If it's more than 40, it needs to be split up in two and cant air back to back. I've seen people say a minimum 3 months or up to a year in between seasons.

I agree with why they set out the regulation, but for MLC, a 2nd season is most welcome 😍

I would recommend "bloody romance" it was my first LYT drama. Not a HE, it's another open ending.
