Its fine in the beginning, then slow, episode 9/10 are nice after that its slow again until the last 2/3 episodes. Also its just all in the dorm which can get pretty boring. But I'm the same , and i've finished this without too much effort so go for it.

Well for Korean crossdressing standards, it is one of the best ones yes. I wouldn't say passable as a man though. I recommend the Chinese show 'Bromance' who does it really well.
