I prefered how the romance in this one was interpreted and unfolded. I also prefered how the princes were killed in this one versus the realistic brutality of Moon Lovers.
The Acting was superb. I do feel the FL was a bit monotone in the second half. I understand the character I think she just didn't get it just right.
The good ole space-time continuum is whether it's her presence/warning served as the catalyst for all the events or it was inevitably so, or it formed a parallel universe.
This is the best costume/period chinese drama out there. It's a masterpiece and a crime not to watch it. So good!…
I agree. I just have one stupid question. Did they ever conclude his missing son?? That woman was so crazy so not sure if the death and grave was real.
why do they always need the make the second male lead so pathetic and weak that just cuz a male doesnt like her…
Agreed. I am more curious why did the writers allow such a stupid lie. She introduced him as a friend when she know they in a relationship in Episode 14. I am like really.
I think I may need to start and take breaks, as I swear my expectations are too high. Is that how society is? This foolish that conflicts are due to misunderstandings. I understand the insurities but dang man. I have a headache now lol
Now, as I read the comments below I started this drama on Episode 40. However, after finishing the episodes, it was so delectable that I started from Episode 1. Can you say that FL played her part well. Now while I liked Second ML, the Emperor did like her first, he just wouldn't admit he fell for such a crass girl. However, the second was so sweet, intelligent and thoughtful. He truly cared for her deeply. Both men grew to understand her personality extremely well. However, Emporer is the ruler and Second was at his will. Of course, he won't give him the woman he loves. It's a bittersweet romance. It is strange though, I still question if she loves the Emperor. Sighs
This is a true Masterpiece and deserves all the praises. Ifyou are contemplating, I advise you watch. Stamp of Approval.
It seems like she has a burn scar on her face or something like that. In ancient times for women to have scars,…
About Cdrama, that is so the truth!!!!!!!
I just finished watching all. You know there are some very touching moments. Made me want to cry and all the love they shared. At a point, it got really messing and incoherent. Like it was difficult to follow. Sighs

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is the name of the drama. Was brave what she did although years later it backfired. Now remembering the pain I felt watching that drama. Bittersweet. Was searching for your comments on this to see if I should take it off of plan to watch.
