don't forget that those people aren't native speakers and that they are supposed to be inhabitants of Urk (don't even know if that is a real country at all) and some other Arab countries... so yeah I don't think you can actually be mad about that and I think it fits the picture... oh and English conversations look always fake in dramas :P

I think it refers to the fact that in history the kings were seen as the sun in Korea and that they describe the characters as "descendants"of this great country.

Already wathcing descendants of the sun and I love it!! and I put Goodbye, Mr.Black on my list like the casting whoahhhhhhh *-* I'm still not sure about watching come back ahjusshi and Suzy's new drama seems interesting, (maybe because of kim woo bin XD) but I can't say anything for sure yet.

actually now that I have watched ep 2 I get why the plot is written like that. They didn't fall in love at all actually, they were just attracted to each other... The real 'falling in love' part is going to happen in Urk, as described in the plot so yeah... it's just that ep 1&2 were more like an intro :)
like I just watched this movie 'Somewhere only we know' and it was sooo romantic that it made me cry,, and like that wasn't enough they also throwed this 'go hug the person next to you now cuz u never know what will happen in life' thing at me at the end and I was sitting here ALL ALONE : ok who am I supposed to hug? A ghost?????
T^T dramas make me depressed about my love life.... and picky.... unrealistically picky which means I have a high chance of staying forever alone.....
