as i know park minyoung was criticized alot in korea for not being pretty and not trying to be pretty in this drama. Also if you look at the Genre Romance is obviously just as big as the action or crime stories.. There are many dramas witht hose genres without romance so why dont you try them out.. I cant say there arent any clichees or so but the plot is pretty good. And as i know clark kent is someone who never hurts people no matter what good or bad and only tries to save people.. But joon ho otherwise beats them all up even sometimes without a good reason and also doesnt mind to trick and play dirty wich superman NEVER does.
Clearly you just dont like the romance part which i like very much why? Because i like romance stories with people who did go trough the same pain..
I am not criticizing you so be cool we all love k dramas xD =)

if this wasnt planned from the beginning then it wont happen.. Would soo kyung really come back at the end ?? i mean normally this was her role she was a big reason for the success in season 1

i agree that it lost the simplicity of the food in season 1 and it doesnt make me hungry or salivating or sooo.. i guess they were surprised how good season one was without much investements and they just wanted make a good drama.. now it seems they try too hard in making the food look like commercials also that convenience store girl they shouldnt let an acretss that young show that much(OF course anywhere else in the west it would be normal but she is korean and lives in korea if we think about that i thinkl its too much because i doesnt add anything to the story)..

dae young totally looks like a loner and a bit like a loser somehow.... totally dont like this development.. Also i wish in ep10 soo kyung or so would make a comeback and meet dae young while eating xD that way all peoiple would be happy =)

taking out the battery is like old school way!! its like comparing top rip open potato chips or carefully cut them open with scissors....

so today i wanna watch it for the second time and i just wanted to say that i wish that the truth about choi ji woo would have made a bigger revelation because i just love thos drama moments when someone realizes something that he didnt know before and he she immediately understands the MAIN peoples feelings and reason for his doings.... STILL BEST DRAMA SINCE I HEAR YOUR VOICE!!!

instead of holding back i think in season after they the main girl ate something deliciouswe the viewer also wanted to eat something delicious. But till now the second season i didnt get the feeling at all.. Also they totally used the light to much while presenting the food the room looks normal but when they ate chineese in epsiode one the food was under super bright light which looked more like a commercial than making me crave for food..

ok just my thoughts after episode one... if you try to compare first and second season then you will find out second season is quite different. Also many like me loved the first season so after episode one i would be dissappointed if i compare them.

I dont know if they wanted to have the samce concept or change something but the food scenes are different instead like real eating fever i felt i was watching commercials... unlike season 1 i didnt get any hunger from watching( just the first episode).
the new main actress does not a bad job her food scenes look quite good but while tasting it she makes some sounds that are just unnatgural and too much( for me).
Also normally i wouldnt say this but whenever her face was on screen full i kept looking at her nose because it looked a bit "unnatural" it just didnt fit her face somehow, i am not saying she is fake but i dont like her nose..
Also instead of people slowly growing toegether and enjoy eating together as hobby it feels like just one episode they progressed this far witch feels unnatural(for me)..
tbhe only thing thats better for me than in first season is that dae young now drives a Mercedes Benz instead of a Hyundai/kia.. xD

but if i dont compare it witht he first season i was quite entertained although not as the first season 8,5 i would say.

ok now the question of questions! As a guy who likes romance dramas but really doesnt like or doesnt care about vampires is this drama something i should watch..??
tight now i cant find a drama to watch...
there are many bad articles out aboud bad acting low rating etc......

omg honestly just 12episdoes?? WHY??? a cast like this will is like once in a lifetime!! WHY???

okay i liked the story cast is good too and i know makjang is coming or so but the baek family is totally cold they just kick her out eat dinner and the grandma even says she is not my granddaughter anymore as if its nothing....
thats the only thing i dont understand in asian culture some parents want to be repaid that they raised their children with love and money...

summer scent that drama killed me literally in two ways first i cant live without dramas anymore and second even though she is very ill i totally want a love story like that??==??
my first thirty dramas or so i realized i cant rewatch dramas so i didnt but on one rainy day when i couldnt find a new drama to watch i just laid on my bed picked out my tablet and watched on viki Summer Scent again and i loved even more. HER EPIC RINGTONE IS MY RINGTONE SINCE THEN!!!
PS city hall was not very famous and i found it later i didnt know it is kim sun ah but this drama was soooo gooooooood totally LOVED IT

just a quick question in this drama i know its a love triangle but the whole 70episodes are not just who is the father maybe and who will she date??
i love it when they get feelings and get together and stay together trough hardships but i dont like romances where we have to wait till the last episodes and then there are one or two kisses.. i hope you know what i mean...??
