Big mistake or small mistake it is still a mistake (murder is where I draw the line). When we make them (depending on what they are) we want help/support. He is the same...he is going to need help and support to get through this. Don't know him personally but I hope that whatever he needs...he gets it.

It is not good to pass judgment on those we don't know if we were not there. If you have never made a SINGLE mistake in your life, then you have the right to say this. If you have, then you are human just like he is.
I think his hair is like this because he is also getting ready to work on something else so it has not been decided on what the hair style (for his next work) will be so he is just keeping it long.
No more than any other main actor in other dramas...Some dramas do start with more focus on others before the drama develops in later eps. I can think of others that have started this way before other characters came into play
