I was a bit worried that the screenwritter was trying to sell this as being romantic ... So yes, the sign for me that it's too much and not romantic is in this ep with Hama-chan taking it another level and Wan Zhe realizing that it's not funny anymore.

They really made a good job on the Highschool battle ground atmosphere for Highschool frenemy. I wouldn't say it's perfect (there are many moments where normal people would call the police but .... ) for the sake of the cool display it might be valid.

In the morning I felt like : Okay, you see him you tell him you have been loving him from afar for long and that alcohol made you had stupid ideas and that you didn't meant to lie ... and so on ...
and then he goes telling his friend "I go with the flow" ... I don't know on what flow you are but we all know you are haeding to a catastrophy.
The only solution would be that Itt actualy figured it out on itself from almost the start ... ... might be a solution ... not even sure.

And as you said it's not everything but it's probably a good think to have healthy maybe a bit poetic but at least more simple and natural representation of sex. Make it less taboo so when people need to ask question it's a little bit easier and for young audience to have something that doesn't throw them into some pornish twisted clichΓ© or 10 years ago with couples who wouldn't display any form of intimacy which was a bit weird too tbh.
