It might be personnal feelings but it's a bit too much. Li Wan Zhe hasn't much of anywhere to escape or space to think. Hamaguchi is very present and in a strong way, clinging, sniffing indeed, than showering all the presents, and screaming his confession, and then coming to work at the same place and pushing ... is it because of the spell that it's a little too much ? I guess I would feel a bit suffocated if I was Li Wan Zhe I guess that's why I am not that much into them. I don't feele the balance of the relationship between them. It's fine and they can be somewhat cute but I'd rather give my support to main CP 😸
I thought so too, someone said that it’s Wayu’s dream … apparently it’s so in the novel …
I startd to read it and probably the novel is well written but also the translation is very smooth. I actually enjoy it.
But all in all dramas are supposed to be possibly watched as a stand alone. I don't think it will be thaaat confusing all the time that you wouldn't be able to understand the story even without reading the novel.

Somehow it seems to me that for this show there are really one couple that touches more some people and the other couple will absolutely not.
We all have those drama where we like second couple more.
