So episode four is released on WeTV, but it’s for the VIP subscribers only. Even if you have WeTV VIP, you have to use a VPN to access it outside Thailand.
I just finished the movie and I am contemplating watching the series. If it’s any indication from the synopsis, the ending of the movie doesn’t actually happen here, it just transitions from when Golf goes to US and comes back 8 years later. In that way, this is just an adaptation, not a remake, but I’m still skeptical. Maybe I should just watch this when I’m bored and have nothing else to watch :D
Ok so I finally watched the movie today to get some background before the series starts, and honestly, knowing that Golf is alive helped not wreck me as much as I thought it would. Now after finishing the movie and the special, I cannot wait for the series!
My thoughts on part 2: So it’s pretty clear that Wil and Kenji have some kind of pre existing relationship, why else would he be skeptical of his friends working with Kenji? When it was just Joey it may have been justifiable as jealousy, but now, not so much. The talk between Kenji and Elsa was refreshing. Consent is key people. The talk between Wil and Jimmy clearly shows that Jimmy genuinely cares about Joey. Building on the last point, there is absolutely no growth on JiJoey front. Where is the love story for them? Their on the poster for f***s sake!
My problem is still with the storyline, in that it does not seem to be moving. I really want to see more JiJoey scenes soon and hope it happens.
Ok episode 6 is honestly the best episode of the series until now. The story was moving at a brisk pace, the chemistry was amazing, we got an amazing emotional scene and most importantly, they’re both falling in love with each other. This was one of the most positive episodes, in all aspects from acting to story and production. I am so glad I stuck around and I can’t wait for the next episode! ;)
Thank you BL gods!!! It finally happened! I have so many feelings now and their all radiating with love and joy. This was just brilliant! It was...perfect.
Here are my thoughts after watching part 1 of episode 6. # The scene with Kenji and Joey was sexual harassment. # Despite the fact that they were sitting around fighting about who should date Joey, the conversation between Wil and Nuan was very maturely handled. # Nuan really needs to get over Joey. # Despite him being the lead, Jimmy has had very little screen time compared to Wil or even Nuan, leading me to my next point, # The constant hounding by the three other guys interested in Joey is going to push him straight into Jimmy’s arms. Jimmy is the only one who hasn’t been bothering him with confessions of love every other episode and when he does fall in love with Joey, one confession might be enough to get Joey to fall in love with him too. Stop suffocating him for f***s sake! Give the guy some space. # Finally, the best actor and character is... Plantie!
The story is still moving forward ever so slowly, with some really unnecessary conversations, but I suspect that the baby will be born any day now, so we should get some genuine story progression soon.
