I think it was more about Jes than himself because people have only been going insane over Jes and most of them are that man's fans so they were all like "bible deserves better than a homophobe" Since his fans were only going after jes he put himself in the spotlight saying he drinks too so if jes is homophobic because of it so is he, basically a slap in their faces. I loved it
