I see :/ i wish they include the names Yue Mi and Tian Qi at least once in chasing the moon tho, their story was special to me. One of the main reasons why im looking forward to chasing the moon apart from it being a bai Lu and ao ruipeng drama ✨

aww that’s sad then how can this be considered a sequel if they didn’t buy the copyrights? :/ it’s good that they want these to be stand alone shows but having the same names wouldn’t make a lot of difference for first time viewers

Isn’t Gu Jin the son of ShangGu and Bai Jue? Why did they say he’s the son of Di Juan and Yi He? I dropped ALP so I’m kinda confused. I’m planning to at least know the story bc im gonna watch Chasing the Moon for sure and it will be helpful to know the backstory for TLI

I felt like Shangguan Qian was always putting up an act and lying even in the scene where she confesses to Gong Shang Jue and tells him she’s pregnant. It made me think if she ever had feelings for him and wavered from her mission. Because of the acting, it looks like she never loved him for real not even once.

I felt this too. Everything she does seems fake, I mean it’s obvious that she’s acting. I felt this in her romantic scenes with 2nd ML too. It’s like she’s never showing her true emotions. I felt like she was just lying to him, till the very last ep although that’s her mission

Both male and female lead die in each other's arms. The female lead was pregnant while dying. She didn’t even give birth. It’s a sad ending implying you can’t change the fate. At least they spent their last moments together

The subtitles aren’t very grammatical accurate. He meant ‘why don’t you hold on to that thought’. He implies that he likes her so her guess is not wrong. So, she can keep thinking he likes her.

In China, its 5 years of BM (Bachelors of Medicine) + 3 years of MD + 3 to 8 years of residency depending on specialization (OR) some do it as 8 years MD with years of clinical rotations. Taking 11-12 years to become a specialist is common in many countries but its different when it comes to cardiac surgery. It takes a minimum of 16 years to become a cardiac surgeon.

If ML entered college at 18 years of age, he would be 18+16, at least 34 now. Someone mentioned that in the novel, ML's a genius who skipped grades and entered college early. Lets say he was 14/ 15 when he entered college (the youngest person to get into med school in China was 13/ 14 and is famous, if ML is not that famous, then he's likely not the youngest to enter). Still, he needs to be at least 30 if he's cardiac surgery. He's 29, ig the math matches a bit but its still kinda ridiculous if you get what i mean lol. they just wanna show the ML as a flawless genius excelling in whatever he does. that's what I tried to mean hahaha

the cut scenes aren't very apparent when you watch the series so dont worry! consider the cut scenes like bonus scenes, thats how i saw it lol. it was a good series!

Xiao Duo from Unchained Love comes to my mind when I think about a male lead similar to Xie Wei ❤️Dylan Wang plays that and did so much justice to the character, everyone was obsessed with his looks and mannerisms omgg ❤️‍🔥 you should def give it a try!! the actress is Yuqi Chen and she was amazing too! a few of the steamy scenes didn't pass the censorship but is available online as clips if you dig deep lol and there are two alternative happy ending clips too!!

Also, Dongfang Qingcang from Love between Fairy and Devil if you haven't watched that already lol
