They changed name of SG and BJ and will likely do same for CTM because they wish to makes these stand alone shows
I see :/ i wish they include the names Yue Mi and Tian Qi at least once in chasing the moon tho, their story was special to me. One of the main reasons why im looking forward to chasing the moon apart from it being a bai Lu and ao ruipeng drama ✨
Yes. They changed parents name because they didn’t buy copy rights from ALP. I enjoyed ALP, story is very good.
aww that’s sad then how can this be considered a sequel if they didn’t buy the copyrights? :/ it’s good that they want these to be stand alone shows but having the same names wouldn’t make a lot of difference for first time viewers
Their story: ep 1-14 FL and ML are best friends who grew up together. He is in love with someone else. She secretly…
Thank you for writing this summary! I dropped ALP and was wondering if I’ll be able to enjoy watching Chasing the Moon without the backstory but thanks for the short summary. Now, I can just watch the clips and wait for Chasing the Moon to release. I love the synopsis and the looks of the characters ✨
Isn’t Gu Jin the son of ShangGu and Bai Jue? Why did they say he’s the son of Di Juan and Yi He? I dropped ALP so I’m kinda confused. I’m planning to at least know the story bc im gonna watch Chasing the Moon for sure and it will be helpful to know the backstory for TLI
I felt this too. Everything she does seems fake, I mean it’s obvious that she’s acting. I felt this in her…
She says it’s a real thing and it does seem like it really happened. I just couldn’t believe her or the fact that she was pregnant bc of her acting. Everything seemed made up to me. The only real thing about her was the fact that she was a spy
I also had the same thought. I don't even know when she was truly sincere to Shangjue and his brother throughout…
This!! You can’t seem to know what she’s thinking so everything she says seems like an act. Unreadable face of the actress was being to obvious that her character was just putting up an act
I felt like Shangguan Qian was always putting up an act and lying even in the scene where she confesses to Gong Shang Jue and tells him she’s pregnant. It made me think if she ever had feelings for him and wavered from her mission. Because of the acting, it looks like she never loved him for real not even once.
Did anyone of you feel this too? What’s your thought on her feelings for Shang Jue?
On ep. 6 and 2nd FL is distracting, idk if it’s just me but it seems super obvious that she’s putting on an…
I felt this too. Everything she does seems fake, I mean it’s obvious that she’s acting. I felt this in her romantic scenes with 2nd ML too. It’s like she’s never showing her true emotions. I felt like she was just lying to him, till the very last ep although that’s her mission
Both male and female lead die in each other's arms. The female lead was pregnant while dying. She didn’t even give birth. It’s a sad ending implying you can’t change the fate. At least they spent their last moments together
found this article about him. People are criticizing his acting skills, makeup, and what not. He’s quite popular as a mini drama lead but these criticisms hold him from getting lead roles in full length dramas :/
"your words make me think that you like me""why don't you hold that thought?"i'm not a native english speaker…
The subtitles aren’t very grammatical accurate. He meant ‘why don’t you hold on to that thought’. He implies that he likes her so her guess is not wrong. So, she can keep thinking he likes her.
medical school in china is different than in US. They go directly from high school to med school in china and…
In US, its 4 years of bachelor + 4 years of Graduate Med School (MD) + Clinical rotations + 3 to 8 years of residency depending on specialization.
In China, its 5 years of BM (Bachelors of Medicine) + 3 years of MD + 3 to 8 years of residency depending on specialization (OR) some do it as 8 years MD with years of clinical rotations. Taking 11-12 years to become a specialist is common in many countries but its different when it comes to cardiac surgery. It takes a minimum of 16 years to become a cardiac surgeon.
If ML entered college at 18 years of age, he would be 18+16, at least 34 now. Someone mentioned that in the novel, ML's a genius who skipped grades and entered college early. Lets say he was 14/ 15 when he entered college (the youngest person to get into med school in China was 13/ 14 and is famous, if ML is not that famous, then he's likely not the youngest to enter). Still, he needs to be at least 30 if he's cardiac surgery. He's 29, ig the math matches a bit but its still kinda ridiculous if you get what i mean lol. they just wanna show the ML as a flawless genius excelling in whatever he does. that's what I tried to mean hahaha

the cut scenes aren't very apparent when you watch the series so dont worry! consider the cut scenes like bonus scenes, thats how i saw it lol. it was a good series!
Love this couple but sadly they're just my imaginary couple 🥲FMV edit of Yan Lin x Princess Shen Ziyitwitterhttps://twitter.com/mydiaryofminime/status/1732381358901879182?t=r4_SH6tKwmgBeJ1dXvPC9A&s=19youtubehttps://youtube.com/shorts/gSOt5GP5Low?si=EXlgbXGhnEgrt75ytiktokhttps://vt.tiktok.com/ZSNXkYeDL/
After watching this, i really wish they were a couple in the series!! they would have been a beautiful match
I just replied to another comment similar to yours so i copy pasted it here too lol 😁
Xiao Duo from Unchained Love comes to my mind when I think about a male lead similar to Xie Wei ❤️Dylan Wang plays that and did so much justice to the character, everyone was obsessed with his looks and mannerisms omgg ❤️🔥 you should def give it a try!! the actress is Yuqi Chen and she was amazing too! a few of the steamy scenes didn't pass the censorship but is available online as clips if you dig deep lol and there are two alternative happy ending clips too!!
Also, Dongfang Qingcang from Love between Fairy and Devil if you haven't watched that already lol
Till the End of the Moon's Tan Tai Jin omgg ❤️🔥he's a pitiful character like Xie Wei but damn i love him
