Agreed. Before this SOTUS was definitely my top. I haven't watched HCTM yet. I'm in the process of reading the novel though. I was thinking of watching it after finishing the novel.

If it goes by the novel he's not to be blamed but yes with GMM's track record of horrible final episodes I'm really scared. So far for me this is the best GMM BL series.

Sometimes I feel like they screwed up Tonhon just to show that 1000 stars is better, LOL. It was that bad XD I mean there were so many problematic aspects in Tonhon. I honestly feel bad for the actors. They did a good job but the plot, character development was just shitty. The humor was misplaced and all the efforts of the actors was just lost.

I think they pushed the ages a bit. As I remember in the novel also there was around 8-9 year age gap. Novel Phupha was around 29 I think. Someone had commented on Twitter that according to when the timeline of the book being written and the current timeline, Phupha should be around 35-36 in 2020 and Tian also somewhere 24-26 I think. I'm not 100% sure on this one though. It was all what I gathered from Twitter cuz they never specifically mentioned it.

Yes. I think BackAof had great trust in Earth. Even when he wasn't offered big roles BackAof kept this character especially for Earth which I find is rather sweet. They really hit the jackpot with EarthMixx.

I think he knows it. Initially BackAof offered the role of Phupha to Earth 4 years ago. He had commented during Earth's birthday post that they've been successful finally. People are already adding EarthMixx to the four pillars and dubbing them the "Royal Five" XD

Yep. It's rather cute. They lost contact for a while I think until Earth had recommended the role of Tian to Mix. Apparently it was Earth's vote for Mix that ultimately gave the role to Mix. BackAof had others for the character but after Earth said that Mix was a better choice they chose him. Now I can't even imagine anyone else in the character of Tian other than Mix.

Yeah. Basically Shin Su Ryeon made the show good and was the only redeeming character. I know everyone is saying she'll be back as a nother character but I truly hope she'll be back as the same character. Her character was the single one character that was likeable.

But then again this is like Korean Makjang at the ultimate level.

TBH I was a huge shipper before but after the third episode I'm like Ro Na deserves so much better!!!She has suffered so much and honestly I don't see any endearing characters in the children of Hera Palace except in Jenny who's showing some maturity. The children are basically some spoiled children who knows nothing but to throw tantrums after their favorite toys have been taken away.

Yep they've been friends for 7-8 years. When they were only 14 and 18!! How cute is that right?????

I think the main novel has 14 chapters and special booklet had 10 more? all together I think the whole story is 24 chapter. I'm not sure either though.

This is the most healthiest of the relationships they've portrayed. As much as I love GMM BLs they do not portray some things realistically. Until 1000 stars I found SOTUS with the most realistic portrayal of a relationship but now 1000 stars are triumphing that for me. It's not that I'm saying the others were bad because hell no. I love the four pillars of GMM as much as the next person.
But this is just my personal opinion.

Lol, Kinda sad for Torfun but I'm glad they stuck to that aspect. Even in the novel it is always stressed that Phupha always thought of her as a sister and nothing more. During the first ep I was scared they might change that but boy am I glad they didn't.
