Idk who did the subbing, but they mixed up the names! The prince they have been talking about is the CROWN PRINCE, NOT CHANGJUE. Changjue is Taohua's brother. The subber doesn't know who is who so they wrote Changjue's name when the characters meant is the evil crown prince 💢

Jiang Taohua had been living in hell even though she is a princess. She and her brother were treated like servants after Lady Lu became the empress. They even lived with the servants next to palace walls. The emperor doesn't care about her and her brother even though they are his children.

If they follow the novel, ML fell in love at first sight, but he is a tsundere so he keeps denying and refuses to admit until the very end. He has never been in love so he doesn't understand his own feelings. Moreover, he is suspicious by nature. I described their relationship as frenemies.

Have you finished reading it? it is so good that I reread it 3 times back then 👍🏻 that's why I feel disappointed the novel characters are not in the drama.

Just the key points. Up until ep 8, they changed a lot of things. They erased a lot of novel characters and added a bunch of original characters. With this, perhaps about 70-80% difference from the novel.
