Ikr he looks amazing in modern dramas also but in xianxia he is just so unreal

I dunno it is just me or xiao zhan looks extra good in costume dramas. Just by looking at the comments many are excited to see him in a xianxia after a while. If they do a good job with production and script writing it'll be a hit for sure. And acting wise xz and renmin do have good reputation and fang yilun is also good since i've seen his previous dramas. There are many good reasons for it to be the most anticipated drama this year

Chapter 148 was such a "good night " if you know what i mean 🤗 hope they include it in the drama as well

Now that is a lie that xz only has chemistry with yz . He surely had chemistry with li qin even if he was just the 2nd ml in "The wolf". I was even rooting for them than the main couple. He just doesn't need a major role to exude chemistry with fellow actresses. I watched ace troops and despite bai lu being a cameo role they had such a strong chemistry. Truth to be told many non-novel readers thought he and meng ziyi's character gonna end up togetherin TU and even shipped them. If they didn't created sparks why would ppl ever think of shipping. It is just that he doesn't need to be a main role or require very long screen time in order to create chemistry. With actresses who can vibe with him and have good acting skills similar to him he can create that spark. I remember in oh my emperor ppl still prefer his snd zhao lusi's chemistry than that of the ml and zhao lusi

I think it is underrated. Should be at least 8.9-9 since many uninteresting modern romantic dramas have that much ratings for no apparent reason

Tbh almost everyone despise those side couples. But i was never cared about 2nd 3rd couples unless the main couple is so boaring. So this went perfectly for me cz main couple is really something else (The chemistry is sizzling). Xz snd yz ' s natural acting is the highlight in this drama. And the familial theme never dissapoint me like it is so wholesome when all your loved ones are around you. That is why i really adore this drama . If it was a romance centric ( almost only the main couple things without anyone around them) it will not have this refreshing feeling towards me.

It is said that hunan tv has cut some scenes cz it was too long for their airing schedule. That is why i don't like when tv stations buy the rights for dramas finally to butcher it without a reason. Tencent cannot release those scenes even if they have it because of the contract between them and hunan

Yes according to the novel ml is 6 yrs older than fl and the age gap is about 8 yrs in the drama

No offence i tried the drama legally romance after i have watched some teasers on wetv. But actually it's kinda cringey to me so i had to pause so many times before watch the full episode. Don't really feel the chemistry between the leads . I dropped it finally

This drama is so underrated . My one of the most favourite historical cdrama up to date. The storyline is one of a kind barely saw any plot holes. Acting is also so good eventhough i don't see them often in other dramas. OST are top notch. I downloaded all of them. I dunno why it is so underrated
