Kai got good reviews for his performance. Why is it less than 8? Because people didn’t like the mother? Because there’s not enough romance? People down rate for the dumb things. It’s a solid story with good acting. Same with Royal Feast, it has low rating but the drama is actually very good, read the comments section and people also question why the low rating? It should be higher. It’s no less than other Yu Zheng drama for intrigue. (Yanxi, Double, Glory) 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Can only assume international fans only like fluffy, dumbed down dramas. If Kai could harness the power of his haters, he’d be unstoppable 😎

How do you want him to look? I thought he looked gorgeous at the event. He also looks good without makeup too. (Just curious 🙂)

He had his hair all cut off at the end of Fire Investigator filming, it hadn’t grown back yet. He still looks good even with the short hair.

Sadly, he’s not an exception. There’s many people who treat others better than their family. Both mom and dad share blame for what happened with Chen Hui and Songge. Like they obviously care about Songee, we see when she is first diagnosed, they are going to care for her. Unfortunately, they couldn’t stop fighting about money and where it was going to come from which leads to Chen Hui leaving home to make money. Parents say it’s not his responsibility to take that on but they still let him do it. Like I understand financial pressure and how it can break families very well but they should have done better.

Same. From watching that one video, I certainly won’t watch others. Anyways, I never really care about other people’s opinions on dramas to influence my own. I’ll watch for myself to decide.

Actually I never watched her videos before and funnily enough I just went on YouTube and my algorithm had thrown it up cos it’s about Eight Hundred. So I watched it. What a condescending icky person. Spends like 15
Mins talking about everyone other than Kai even tho the story revolves around his character. States some bs about how Songge shouldn’t have been involved like hello BORING OVERUSED TROPE. And basically rolling her eyes out of her head when talking about Kai. Like he’s a lazy person collecting a paycheque. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Why is his delivery not good enough? He’s taking in the drama like a normal person??? I stg people will find any reason to drag him. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with his line delivery even in dubbing he still acts when he’s being dubbed. He still saying the lines how he would say them if he was using his own voice. He just talks like that! lol he has a bit of quiet voice. He still speaks with emotion unlike some other actors who have been doing their ow dubbing and it’s actually painful. They have zero emotion

Of course I’d love him to get industry recognition for his works but we have no control over it so better to not worry about it lol 🙂

I think Kai is intelligent and we shouldn’t worry about things outside of our control. I heard great escape will start filming in May so let’s see if he joins. That will keep him busy until August

Even if he doesn’t, he will have the personal satisfaction of knowing that he did his best and many people have recognized his acting and are
praising him.
🙂 people can see him in a different way now and hopefully he can continue to get these kind of good roles instead of always being used for others. (Not saying his other roles haven’t been good, it’s often the dramas that don’t live up with a few exceptions).
Other people can see what us fans have seen all along 🤗

I’m rewatching ep 20 and I just cannot understand how someone could send their 23 year old child to their death. 😭Like, this is how you save him?
Chen Hui handled it all well, saying he felt relieved and that he could finally rest but still. Chen Hongbing, the real villain 😭😭😭😭 you can argue with me but you won’t change my mind 😅

I will be rewatching starting tmr because it’s so good even though it’s heartbreaking

After watching Eight Hundred I’m looking forward to seeing Kai on the other side of the law here 🤗
