Where in the drama is it stated that Cui Lin has more experience than Li Ni? Also there is no mention of an age difference between the characters. Yes, Jing Tian is older in real life but it’s not a trope in the drama. In SAHPH it is a trope in the drama and it creates a bit of friction for the families. I personally think Kai pairs better with older actress than younger but age difference is not something that sways me from watching dramas. 🙂

ALP is my all time favourite Chinese drama. As Beautiful as You is romance as is She and her perfect husband if you haven’t watched those. I think Kai wants to move away from romance drama and try new things to grow as an actor

It’s a bit premature to fret over his screen time based on a 1 minute trailer. Trailers are often misleading anyways. Let’s wait until the drama airs to worry about screen time. 🙂

I don’t think Yu Zheng had a hand in this drama. I believe I read the director sought Kai out for the role . It’s the FIYS director isn’t it? The problem with previous dramas and some upcoming dramas is shared screen time with other actors who are trying to gain traffic. I see that to be an issue with 2 of Kai’s upcoming dramas but not this one or FI
