Alright am going to put my thoughts on the heavenly emperor.
Almost everyone thought that heavenly emperor was pretty suspect and thought he wanted to kill YY etc while although I thought there was something wrong just could not put my finger on it.

It was the heavenly emperor's attitude in the first 4 episodes, HE was very concerned for YY saving him a few times when YY was trying to repair the barrier for example to prevent his asura aura from appearing HE knocked out YY and helped give him some celestial power, HE actually took a walk after & asked the sky - ranjing was it wrong for you to have YY?
And HE attitude changed was subtle, he was aggressive with his punishments after the recent war where the 4 celestial deities died leaving YY the sole survivor.

With YM & XX conversation about puppets that is what triggered this 🍅 thought process.
The HE was the actual one before the recent celestial/demon war but he was killed & replaced by a 'puppet'or fake HE after to instigate matters in the heavenly realm that is why after YY returned from sending or rather saving YD from the forgetting river the interaction between HE & YY was very off.
HE promised that YY would retain his powers & memories that most definitely did not happen. YY inadvertently is going through trials - looking for the 4 divine artifacts, found love, found good friends will eventually die a mortal then return to the heavens hopefully more stronger than before YY left (this must be part of the plan of the mastermind including acquiring the 4 divine artifacts with minimum efforts - just take it from YY when he returns to the heavens).

Just my personal analysis. 😏

Many viewers have been complaining that the few epidodes of part 1 were dragging and that candle was taking too much screentime so the 1st episode from part 2 has to really catch viewers attention and may as well tear us into pieces while at it. 🤣

After YD realises that she can't let YY go & YY is starting to fight for YD willing to let go of his position will make any woman ambitious or otherwise understand - work with your loved one (being together / supporting ) is way better than just a confession of saying 'i love you & want to be with you for always'.
Side by side together can defeat anything even if there are no words the actions speak louder.

Why would I mind if you have differing assumptions or angles on how the episode is perceived in your eyes?

For the YD getting mad about YY removing all her memories, Some viewers refuse to budge on their simple concepts not understanding - want to, could not but had to way of thinking.
YD WANTED to forget YY but COULD NOT thats why she was stuck for over 800 years at the forgetting river. YY HAD TO remove her memories (her past) for her to cross over to the mortal realm.
Am just pointing out facts but hey people are not happy about it. 😏

I think the bigger picture is when a soldier protects his country during an invasion he IS protecting his family.

YY thinking is as long as the 3 realms are at peace and he is protecting all the realms & beings means he is protecting YD. She will be safe & can lead a peaceful life.
Its a very subtle way of saying YY cares for YD. 😁

I agree about soldier being not ideal as husbands got to know a few women whom married into the military and all of them ended in divorce or extramarital affairs because the women could not take such lonely lives.

am not arguing that fact. the matter of it is - YD wanted to but could not so she had to forget him now she is blaming YY for erasing all her memories.

I did feel slight pity for TZ when he 'scanned' YD at the inn by the forgetting river then realised YD gave him blood from her heart & that she only had half a heart - he was flustered as heck asking where is the other half? For goodness sake haven't you been having enough haunting nightmares TZ? Where the hell does he think the other half of YD's heart is? In that damn gourd?? 🙄🙄

Because YD had to forget YY otherwise she can't cross the river.
"Forget the past & the lantern will extinguish the immortal can cross the river to the mortal realm".

If YY had told YD in the heavens that he loved her trust me she would have never jumped of the bridge.
And we would not have this series running for the number of episodes it is. 🤣

We all are mature enough to talk things through but the 3 musketeers have never been in an actual relationship so all the misunderstandings appeared.

YY & YD now TZ & YD were never actually together together. 😅
Its has been living, one sided love, punishment, more punishment going for trials, meeting new friends, going on adventures and the entire time never confessing & not being together as actual lovers.
Its anyones guess if they will ever be lovey dovey at this rate.

being the mean one TZ heart is YD's plus her half has bled out more than once so meh about the bleeding wrist or standing in the rain.

YD did not ask him to erase her memories. YY had to do so by force otherwise if she did not cross the forgetting river before the 900th year YD would have perished.

Women do crazy things out of anger. She really thought YY had sort of took her love for granted when he returned alive so she wanted to burn that lotus thingy to severe all ties. trust me she must have regretted after but what was done was done.

TZ only started to doubt his decision to return and take his place with lingxiao sect after having a man to man talk with XX has left me irked. I thought TZ wanted to be with YD and was already figuring a way to leave because TZ and YD cannot co exist together. Its like bloody YY all over again. 😡

This conflict between YD and TZ plus the rejection is not because YD did not love TZ / YY it was because after TZ dies as a mortal he will return to the heavens and where will that leave YD? She is a spirit that lives for a very long time but can still be caught and subsequently killed. She just wants to save herself from more heartache (understandably) however can she ever forget? (doubtful) she will still suffer in her own way once YY is back in the heavens. They are having such a hard time co existing as mortal and spirit how will they be together as mortal/spirit & supreme god??

YD life is very much like a soldier's wife - husband has pledge his life to his country everything else has to come second. The wife must accept that she will always be second after the country and either work together with her husband / support him when he is on deployment or not be together at all because she wants to be his number one priority.

at least he felt hurt when YD wrist was almost sliced off because of that bracelet and a little rain never hurt anyone. TZ made YD run in the rain to collect books for restoration so let him have a taste of his own medicine.
(Yes I have been called vicious which I accept with an open mind). 😁

part 1 trailers did not sync with what was aired (not exciting and did not make sense at times).

part 2 trailers are released early by 4 days and makes the viewers (me) want to watch said episode like yesterday.

Am going to say it even if no one agrees.
About time YY/TZ sacrifices something, men can take alot of things rejection being one of them so TZ is going to walk away with his tail between his legs? Or man up & grow a pair. 😝

Part 1 trailer(s) were released the same day said ep would be aired but were snippets that did not make sense at times.
Now youku releases 'highlights' of next week's episode revealing what we are eager to watch.
