Between the 4 currently airing drama this is my #1,. The reason is the story flow of br is really good and the script, that my day is just waiting for 2pm 😊😌 Beside that all these 4 are high budget drama so I see the strength of the 3 too.
The episodes from yesterday and today were good, it lightened the heaviness of the drama. A good filler episodes before diving into heavy part. Its fun to watch the trio for a change. It proves once again that ChengYi is versatile actor he can play heavy emotional scenes but also effective in playing light and scenes.
I love changhuasen as sch here, nonchalant, schemer, funny, confident, and feared no one, what a character but i love fan yun fei in SAB too - cute, innocent, naive. what a multifaceted & multi dimensional actor. Wait, theres more i like him in WOF also lol - regal and princey. And he can play all of it effectively.

Those who say they didn't see any bl here. Just like Word of Honor and The Untamed that were not a bl too, it just pure brotherhood and friendship. There were shipping of both ml coz it adapted from a bl novel. . If you haven't heard or read the novel you will call the cp fans delusional. The difference is BR is not adapted from bl novel and it's purely brotherhood. But those who knows knows, the strong reaction of SCH everytime someone threatened SMY, the tolerance, willing to give up everything for SMY, prepared a house and a fund if smy wants to get out of BR gosh its more romantic than of WOH and TU 😅. when i watched the anime, i like suchanghe liveliness and daring and loyalty to sumuyu but there's no insinuation of bl there and after 6 eps in drama im thinking there are more fit actors for smy char than gj. Now after 16 eps i understand why they get gj as smy, he really is fittest as smy, if you know you know. In this drama you just need a multi dimensional actor to play suchanghe and it will be a hit. and it did, chs is a good choice, when i watched him in AJTL this actor is good at playing of being crazy inlove lol.
Im so invested in this drama coz i really love the story of TODR and sumuyu and suchanghe chars. But the drama adaptation and interpretation is really good, though it look like a copy paste from the novel/anime but insinuation of deeper feeling than brotherhood is portrayed well in the drama and only bl fans can see that. GJ is effortlessly shippable to bromance as long as CHS will catch it.
Beside that all these 4 are high budget drama so I see the strength of the 3 too.
