Rumored same scriptwriter of Once Upon a Time in Lingjian Mountain. Has anyone seen that drama? Because as much as I want this book adapted into a drama, if the screenwriter is not going to capture the essence of the book, no matter how high-budgeted it is it won't compensate for the lack of storytelling for the screen version. I really really hope the screenwriter is good.

I can say that yes, but it's more like a sub genre 😊 I'm not really into the transmigration genre, but this one's fairly unique, and in its own way loosely under that category, I think.

Hopefully it is. Still reading the book translations, but it's already Esther and Arthur I see while reading. Miamiao's lips are Esther's, and Sheng's eyes are Arthur's. The descriptions of the characters fit both actors to a T. If this casting is final, in my humble opinion, it just feels sooo well casted 😍
