I think you have said this several times on this page regarding your take on her negative behaviour and something…
Haha, your comment made me laugh. I've only just said this now for the first time. About the conflict part, it may seem repeated coz I used the same words as I did in a comment once earlier, as my point here is about the redemption. But this is entitled, toxic behavior and what bothers me is people are condoning it. Makes me think they're okay with such wild behavior and overreaction. I'm not triggered, don't worry, love and hugs to you too π«°πΌ
JX is a sweet yet strong person, intelligent, confident, passionate about her work, loving towards friends, caring towards her coworkers, helpful towards everyone, focused on the greater good, all in all an amazing person. However, she failed as a lover. She failed with SYC, and she erred BIG TIME with HT.
She misunderstood, distrusted, stole, colluded with the enemy unintentionally backstabbing HT, confronted HT and during that, provoked, yelled, screamed, slandered, accused, abused, name-called, gaslighted, literally stomped feet, pushed, went berserk, got all hysterical, stormed off, resigned, ghosted him, didn't allow him a chance to clarify, guilt-tripped him, left him devastated, punished him for her own misunderstandings, stayed away for 9 months and Boom! now she "admits" that what he did for the company was the right path for XC and she doesn't "blame" him and she's ready to "forgive".
So...that's it? That's all? Where's her redemption? She's the one that should be apologizing for her acts and behavior and asking for forgiveness in the first place.
The number of people believing she made no mistake or it wasn't her fault, or knowing she was wrong just saying both were equally wrong, is incredibly ridiculous.
No he's not, she could've said we are Exes, but alumni was way better. There's hope afterall
That's not what I said.
I didn't mean HE would say that, he would not! I said she COULD have said exes instead, but she would've done so only if she had believed it to be all over.
Ok, I had this on mind for sometime and wanted to get it out here.
HT didn't tell JX about Hanhai because of a bunch of reasons, it being a trade secret, that it takes time to build trust and they'd only just gotten together, that he meant to tell her but he got scared of her possible reaction too, he was trying to find the best way to tell her when vile ZD wrapped it in a pile of insecurity-feeding, doubt-creating, distrust-provoking lies and gifted it to JX first, which our JX, queen of oblivion, happily took home.
He tried his best to protect XC, and in his understanding of business, it could not have sustained for long on it's own. He had the idea of the merger, but he would 100% not have gone through with it without talking to JX first and convincing her that this is the best path for XC's future. Being MERGED is better than being SUBMERGED. He even made sure with LP (of HanHai) that XC will still have it's own individuality after the merger.
JX didn't understand all of this, she just falsely believed HT was being dishonest and unfaithful with her in business and personal matters. She then broke into his safe to steal docs, went and signed a contract with his rival who she knew to be sinister. After acting upon it already, she comes to have the talk.
During the confrontation, JX used provoking, yelling, screaming, slandering, accusing, abusing, pointing, name-calling, gaslighting, literal feet-stomping and pushing. HT at first, calmly kept trying to explain his predicaments and actions until she pushed his buttons enough for him to raise his voice (which is something rare for a person like HT) when he says "Stop making a mess XingXing!" at which she went berserk, all hysterical and then stormed off.
She doesn't give him a chance to explain or reason with her after, she leaves everything behind and legit ghosts him. Even his house is now a haunted place filled with ghosts from their short-lived but indelible past, and he's left devastated and broken.
I don't understand how people are saying they're both equally wrong or even that HT was more in the wrong. She was unfair to him and acted really selfishly, and the poor guy DID NOT DESERVE this. She punished him too severely for a crime he didn't even commit.
What's awful is, it's still HT who is expected to and will chase her and try to win her back. Moreover, after months of being away, she gets to act all high and mighty that she's 'forgiven' him and is giving him another chance regardless of everything he's ever done for her. . . . If you're going to reply to my comment on how she's hurt and how he's the one who didn't communicate, mixing business/personal matters etc, don't bother, I've read tons of such comments already, don't agree with most of them, and all that is already addressed above. This is just me expressing how I saw and felt about the whole scenario.
The drama did a better job of showing the human toll of a breakup. The novel didn't dwell on it at all, but the…
I think people are wayy overdoing the comparison between the novel and the drama for ABAY, it's an adaptation, doesn't have to be exactly the same as the book. Most dramas, movies, shows deviate from the book they've been adapted from, some even changing the ending to show something different.
If you haven't noticed, there's already at least a 6 month leap in ep 33. LiLi mentions something about what's been happening in the past six months at XC since the merger.
You say JX isn't sad or thinking about HT? She could've gone anywhere on the planet, but she went to Munich, spent time at the same square - feeding birds, went to the same restaurant, sat at the same place, ordered the same food and drinks, walked the same paths that she did with HT.
I'm still convinced that somewhere in JX's mind, she didn't end things with him and hopes to go back to him. She's mad at him, she's hurt, but she can't deal with it all just yet. She escaped for now to have some time and space to assess things and reflect, just as she did before, without thinking of the consequences (She isn't a planner, she's a go-with-the-flow, cross-the-bridge-when-you-reach-it kind of a person). If not, she wouldn't have left DaHuang with him, she would've immediately told her parents she broke up with HT instead of making up an excuse for him, she would've gone to a completely different place to shut down his memories (coz that's what her character would do), and also, you would have seen her crying, getting drunk and going nuts in front of her two best friends. She took another path but didn't burn the bridges.
