I just saw a reuter that WZ was showing MZY an egg, he got emotional and they embraced, anyone know whats happening…
What episode are you on? That was soon after their confessions. He reminisces that as a child, his mom used to give him a boiled egg on lantern festival and by the end of the night, WZ gives him one which makes him emotional.
I'm still conflicted. Did Mei Zhuyu see the cat transform into Wu Zhen? I rewatched it, sometimes I think yes,…
Ig he knew. He saw the familiar cat and put pieces together in his mind and called out if it was WZ, she then changes to her human form and speaks to him.
I thought Wu Zhen was higher than him in the demon chain. Now, he is controlling her? He should go back to his…
She made him his deputy when he was in a child form with past memories removed. Perhaps now that he has regained his memories, he knows he's so much more, and doesn't want to be bossed around even if it's by WZ
Many getting frustrated as to why the ML and FL still haven't discovered each other's realities or didn't communicate about their identities before getting married.
- Firstly, neither of them knew that if they possess supernatural abilities, the other does too, and so, obviously they couldn't even fathom that they're polar opposites and knowing it would be such a big deal.
- Think about it, how would they even broach the subject, um hey, I like you but I'm a demon lord, is that cool? In WZ's pov, she's lived the past 18 years amidst her close mortal family and friends and they never had a clue of her true identity, which she had hid in a facade of a notoriously carefree personality. She thinks she can continue to maintain the facade with her husband too.
- For MZY, it was his mission and his job, had his wife been an ordinary woman, his being a Taoist master wouldn't have made any difference to their lives, except he would want to keep it from her in order not to frighten her.
- It is already known that they can hide their auras, and when they were coincidentally found at the same places tracing demon elements, he just says it's his job, while she finds some or the other random reason or just pretends to be there for him. So until after their wedding, there was no actual reason for them to realize or know the reality for sure.
- Now with the presence of the celestial masters and the actions caused by WZS who's getting more restless, there's increasingly more chance for ML and FL to find something out about each other.
Imagine!! After all the attacks on a person's reputation, impacting his career for who knows up to what extent,…
Well, there are too many gullible members in the crowd. She never produced any credible or substantial evidence to back her claims. To see that so many inclined to believe her nonsense is just ridiculous.
How about you just watch the show when you catch the time and enjoy the ride. Why spoil everything beforehand?
Sure then. 27 eps done and the leads haven't found out each other's true identities yet. The obsessive SML who is a powerful demon hoodwinks FL into believing her body is too weak to use her demon powers and she needs to become a full demon to be able to withstand it and this will take her a 100 years of seclusion, meaning she will have to leave behind all the mortals in her life, including her husband. The divorce hasn't happened yet, but this seems to be the reason she'll leave him. ML is not angry with her, at least, not yet.
Xu Lusha retracted her accusation against Xu Kai saying that she did it just to prank Xu Kai. She said YuZheng…
Imagine!! After all the attacks on a person's reputation, impacting his career for who knows up to what extent, affecting the airing drama in which the work of hundreds is jeopardised, you come out to say, oh it was just a joke!
Of course there's more to it than meets the eye, but the whole created issue was just despicable.
I think either she needed to be in the middle of the array near him, or because it was during the day, and she’s…
It's probably the latter, she's got no demon powers on her during the day, so she doesn't change form in the array. Chi Hua placed talismans on all eight corners so it was the whole area under array, I don't think she really had to be in the centre of it.
All those who are really confused about how LTZ was Minister Liu's daughter and how WZS grew up with FL when both are demons who've lived for 100+ years, apparently haven't seen enough immortal / demon dramas where one's spirit can be found in an orchid, a lotus, a stone, a bow and they can 'cultivate' to take human form, or reborn as someone's child, or just temporarily possess a mortal body. They can even lose cultivation or powers to degenerate into a weaker form or an infant form.
All significant events in MR somehow go back to the fire incident 18 years ago, once it's mystery is unravelled, all details will be revealed.
Just wait till it's explained in the show, or just ignore if they don't bother to explain it, as these strange occurrences are a norm in these realms.
This plot sucks. Especially at later half. They wasted all the potential. If they have sticked to the novel this…
Absolutely not, the novel had hardly any of those aspects in it that make a great drama. The story was good for a novel as a light read, but a drama requires much more. For a drama the story was too flat, it needs more ups and downs to captivate audiences.
MZY strongly suspects WZ after what Shuang Jian tells him about Hu Zhu, recalling all the events with demon activities where she kept appearing too.
This really troubles him a lot, so he requests Chi Hua to fix the demon revealing array and invites WZ to come visit him at work so he could lay his suspicions to rest.
When she comes, he hesitates, like he decides he doesn't want to know and asks her to not come to that octagonal area. She however had already stepped into the array and nothing happens to her, she doesn't change into her demon form (perhaps because she's only half demon, or maybe because she's powerful enough to not be affected by the array, or it may be that Chi Hua's array didn't really work). So when she pulls him to save him from that falling tile, he pulls her into a tight hug and says he's sorry (sorry for suspecting her). He's at peace then, happily grilling meat, waiting for her at home.
Earlier in the episodes when WZ and HZ were testing Shuang Jian's skills, WZ had slight suspicions about MZY, which presumably she later gives up on as nothing of consequence occurs after.
At the moment, both have resolved their suspicions and trust each other completely. So when the reveal does happen, it's gonna shatter the belief they have in their love and in each other. That's going to be a painful watch.
Has strong visuals, but the plot is muddled although its early to say that for the whole drama. The rating could…
It would absolutely not suit MZY's character if XK had more animated expressions. The fact that it's easily noticeable he openly expressed at the wedding shows he's changing due to WZ.
He quite meaningfully expresses with his eyes and body language which is why he was an excellent choice for this role. Don't know why you feel like he's reciting lines, coz that's not how others here see it.
SJ: I swear MZY is not one of the ten members of Changxi Palace (Yeah, coz he officially just left it, and oh btw, he's a prodigy, the best of us all)
Convenient. How convenient 😆
