For me, I didn't think of LTZ as much of a character in the beginning, but in later eps I found her to be quite interesting.

Mei Si seemed similar to Shuang Jian at first, but later eps showed he's a much more likeable personality.

Name a character from MR you felt differently about in the first few episodes and you have a changed view about them now.

It seems to be the director's style. The bathtub with roses to add that special touch for such a scene reminds me of The Double.

He looks so adorable, beaming with joy as he rides in the cart towards the Duke's manor.

Funny how MZY's own cousin and subordinates change sides to have a go at him and then stop when they're intimidated by his indifference. And then his proud smirk when upon WZ's challenging them, they all drop their sticks.

If you keenly observe, you can see the waves of emotions in XK's microexpressions throughout the wedding scenes, note the very subtle but deeply meaningful expression he gives with his body language when he hears the lady announces they're bound by the tied hair as husband and wife, as if he'd found his world and couldn't believe his ears, yet doesn't show this to the people around him.

Loved how the flashbacks of their story were played as they bowed, ending with each giving themselves affirmations of their missions too.

It's all over the place. It has two completely different arcs, using the same characters. Many got confused that it's a continuation, but they're just separate stories.

It's called Untouchable Lovers. I wouldn't recommend it though, full of cast who are big names now, but the story was all messed up and a complete drag.

She teases him of being shy, so he decides to take action, she, taken by surprise, was the one who ends up turning shy, and then it's his turn to tease her asking why she was blushing.

I remember seeing this in XK's first drama, Song Wei Long was the ML, in the first half, he was part of the FL's 'harem' of about 20 or so men 😅

Ah, now I understand the purpose of Shuang Jian's existence in the drama (apart from stupidly leaking MZY's info to Changxi Palace 🙄). He's there for the audience to hear MZY's pov and explanation regarding any demon related event

Same, same. I think it was the episode when he discovers LTZ's true form and still stays by her, everyone's perspective of him (LTZ included, ha!) changed a bit after that
