Exactly. Ok yes, this is how love works, alright. But we don't see HOW he fell for her at all! Like how did his thoughts change? What conflicting emotions is he feeling? Also WHY did Ha won fall for him again? Hm....he was erghm.......being nice to her for the first time so................NO. FEELING. ARE SHOWN. something! anything! like bro, dear director , WHAT THE FU ARE THE CHARACTERS THINKING!????? conclusion is, too forced. badly directed.

I understand what you're saying, the problem is, like Gkxxx said, that none of these things you said, or things we hoped to se between the main characters, were executed WELL enough to actually SHOW any chemistry between them. The "sparks" between them were too fabricated, and I'm not jus complaining about the slow-motion movements, obvious no-reason bashing from main guy to girl, but most importantly the whole "guy-changes-feelings-about-girl" thing. I don't mind bad guys falling for the girl. In contrast I love it, the problem is that in this drama , the change wasn't just sudden, but there also weren't any real good reasons for this change to happen other than him learning about her past (which I don't find reason enough, afteral he already knew about her debts and stuff previously but still continued to be mean". He literally fell for her in ONE single episode. And I mean the WHOLE falling-in-love process. Another thing I can't bear is that, ok, he's being nice for other purposes too (well that was his purpose at first right?) ....but, WE DON'T SEE ANY OF HIS REAL THOUGHTS!! what does he TRULY feel? Shouldn't he have othr emotions other than love for her? then, why don't they SHOW that to us!!! This just makes everything look even more rushed.
I think this all already too much for me even without going into the rubbish usage of Hyun Min's character so yeah, I'll stop here.
Don't get me wrong, I still think this is an alright drama which is probably ideal for most viewers. Hot guys, cliches, fairy tale story, what more does it need?
However, as someone who has watched dramas for years, to me, this drama's story, along with the directing, just has too many flaws.
P.S. I seriously don't think you should be talking about cliches at all since this whole drama is 99% cliches.

"The transition of this drama was getting way too fast.
First five episodes, you see a lot of Eun Ha Won and Kang Hyun Min screen time; having fun together. And for those who strongly ship HWxJW, don't you dare deny that you are feeling all giddy everytime HyunMin and HaWon did something together - even if it's funny and very childish.
What I did not like with the way they were developing the plot is that, HaWon was supposed to be the neutral one. Why? Because she was living with four handsome males. And her character was supposed to be someone who's not easily swayed with the gestures of any male. In Episodes 6-8, it was obvious that she's developing a crush on JiWoon which was not shocking at all. I just didn't like the fact that she is 'Flirting' with him.
After rejecting HyunMin she acted like she didn't care; as if she didn't do anything. She did not even showed any concern when she saw HyunMin going home drenched in the rain. I am a writer myself. And it was frustrating because they could have made HyunMin sick after walking in the rain like that. They should have given HaWon the chance to see for herself if she really have something for HyunMin. They didn't give HyunMin and HaWon the chance to discover if they are feeling something towards each other.
They did not.
Instead, they took the story into a full swerve. From HyunMinxHaWon simple, funny and little sweet things and then 'woosh' JiWoonxHaWon fluff. The transition was so fast. And I know I'm not the only one who noticed that.
HaWon was closest to Hyunmin (even if they were just pretending to be in a relationship before - she met him first). The next thing you see, she is flirting with JiWoon right after receiving a confession from HyunMin. Worse, she was fully aware that the two are cousins.
I love this drama with its first five episodes even though the plot was simple and too cliche. I was hoping that it could give the viewers more. But with the way things turned out, I'm just wondering if they could give the fans an acceptable ending." ---Gkxxx
lmao the end of ep 3 got me laughing hard. ji woon was like oh look they kissing so how about we kiss too? i am…
I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like I know he has some sad story and he's (probably) being mean o protect himself and stuff like that but SERIOUSLY. WHY WOULD ANYONE FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM IF HIS ATTITUDE IS LIKE THAT!!!!!!!! on the other hand dear hyun min is just getting started ....
Jung Il Woo doesn't really fit that charachter... I can't explain why, but there is a sort of feeling that doesn't…
Well they better get started on that quicky then instead of just trying to shove to our face the fact that he is the main lead by makig all his movements slow mo
Enjoying this drama but I wish they would tone down the slow mos a bit. They don't need to slow mo every single…
OMG I KNOW RIGHT LIKE FINE WE GET IT. LET ME JUST GO NOW DROWN MYSELF BECAUSE I KNOW THERE'S NO WAY SHE WILL END UP WITH HYUN MIN SINCE HE DOESN'T GET SO MANY SLO MOs!
lmao the end of ep 3 got me laughing hard. ji woon was like oh look they kissing so how about we kiss too? i am…
OMG ikr!!!!!!!! Hyun min is just such a cinnamon roll. Instead we have the main lead who needs dramatic stories to become more interesting and is continually a jerk for no good reason. Right now he is acting exactly like those rich jerks he hates. In ep 3 near the end Hyun min looked so cute messaging her and jumping around!!!

like wth BOF was totally different since the setting and also the way the guys act towards the girl are totally different.
