Someone said that this is "Addicted twink version"..and it's unfunny š but I kinda agree with them. I don't think we can expect much from this drama ,even basic eye expressions of staring at each other, or holding hands etc... y'all remember " Justice in the dark" drama that aired in April ,last week it was taken down from Youku platform after just 10 eps. Imo it was just a bromance at best drama ,and compared to word of honor,it wasn't even much bromance. I feel like in the future , Chinese dramas won't even feature 2 males (unless there's a female)as leads for the fear of them having just basic chemistry and being viewed as gay. I mean take a drama like, "my roommate is a detective" what was point of the fl?..they had to add her just to emphasize that that was a heterosexual drama even when romance was not the center of the drama. So in conclusion, anything " gay" coming from china ,Ive learnt to just lower my expectations..I mean idk this drama may even be taken down if the leads as much laugh or even smile at each other ...uuuf

Can we now focus on their current lives please?,,I think we've got enough backstory in the last 4 episodes...I just feel like nothing happened in ep4,in terms of story dvpt
I've just binge watched the 4 episodes and this show is great on its own(when u don't consider the original "addicted). My problem is,I'm constantly comparing this adaptation to the original ,esp when it comes to the actors. Both Johny Huang and Timmy Xu played their roles perfectly and Johny with all his playfulness ,Charm and Timmy Xu aloofness.so it's kinda hard to watch someone else recreate that character although with a different name. And I know it's unfair to the actors, considering they are both still green as actors but I can't help it.Gu hai character ( Wu bin in this adaptation) was a lovable tough guy who doesn't take life too seriously,had a playful personality and antics ,while here he's too much serious and angry looking all the time and I just don't think it works when you have 2 ml leads that are both the serious type. Also ,I find the actor too much younger than the other ml,that when he "acts tough" I find myself laughing and not taking him serious . Anyway these two new guys are cute and aren't doing bad in their roles,I just need to stop with the comparison.
Sometimes simple is enough. Simple story,with cute characters and good actors. Just good vibes .I loved the countryside scenery so much and summer vibes .issa a feel good feel story overally. Korea is really improving it's game in 2023 (well same can't be said for likes of "starstruck,love mate"but we'll get there) really loved this show. 9/10 for me . Oh and Yechan ā¤ļøcarried. .the actor really did justice to the character
