On My Bias, My Boss 3 days ago
this is the kind of drama that you need to avoid... again a love triangle and the 2nd male character becomes evil... so cliche

Currently I am focusing on period dramas. I am sick of watching female centered plots. Most of the it doesn't feel like a good watch due to the quality of writing to show FL is as hard as a rock and independent, due to this the other characters feel like a burden.

I enjoyed the Guardian of Dafeng and would love some more dramas of it's type

I meant the setting of court politics, but romance would be a bonus if present!

Rating too high. Deserve 8.5. Its a good one but not at 9.1
yes it's bloated too much, it's a solid 8.3 in my opinion

Any more like this but the romance should be there and it shouldn't be pathetic which is the current trope in recent dramas.

It doesn't really because strength alone doesn't mean battlefield experience and strategic awareness (battle IQ)…
Yes, the FL’s character is clearly designed that way, and TXW does portray that aspect of her character quite well. However, I do find the idea of her wanting to fight for ML while simultaneously not wanting him to fulfil his responsibilities a little odd. I understand that this may be intended to show her emotional attachment to ML and her desire to protect him from the burdens of his role, but the way it is presented can come across as somewhat forced.

Title The Road to Splendor Spoiler
Finally caught up with the current episodes. Now I’ll only watch once it’s completed.
From what I can infer, ML and FL will only get married in the penultimate episodes. Amidst the guise of these salt reforms, they will once again find themselves facing a predicament. Father Fu’s comeback is quite a shock, given the direction of the story so far. Let’s see how all of this eventually gets resolved.

One thing is clear the FL was marrying into the Yu family not to their young master. In the scene where she was late for the gathering in ep. 3 she didn't even glance at the man whom she was doing all this to marry. The starting is befitting in my opinion let's she how this changes....

In my opinion this was a really great story, but starting from the penultimate episode Jang Tae Ha actually lost his charm and strength tbh, all that build up from the start was kind of squashed. Thoughts 🤔??

In my opinion female general dramas are bit forced tbh, in this too it doesn't really make sense for her to fight on the battlefield. Thoughts 🤔??
