Bad, illogical script full of plotholes, bad editing, bad lighting, bad direction, boring fight scenes with lame…
I guess you and I see things differently. I see a battle-weary Chief who despite her efforts, couldn't keep her lover out of danger. I see regrets, guilt, heartbreak but also acceptance of their fate.

regarding FL acting. Her character is supposed to be "detached, emotionless, and indifferent" So in other words, YM played her character perfectly since you, as the viewer, got these impressions from her acting.
It was a combination. The script/plot and the acting. It was hyped up due to a popular cast. The main thing that…
Let's be honest here. How is it possible to "have loved Yang Mi since Ten Miles" and "she's one of my favorite actress" but also say "she is among the famous actress/actors that can't act"? Those 2 sentences are contradictory unless you have a habit of loving actors who can't act. If you loved her in Ten Miles, she has surely shown you that she can act.
You try watch it yourself, as i said several times on this page that this drama doesn’t deserves such a low…
oh yeah, fan wars galore. I have enjoyed the drama very much. I don't see problems that people are complaining about especially the issue of FL raising ML and then becoming a couple. She didn't raise him. Period. She lets him stay in Tushan where he has to earn his keep. She occasionally provides some guidance with his practice but he gets most of his teachings from the other spirits.
I also don't see any problem with YM acting. She's supposed to play a character who has literally no emotions. Although I saw some sparks of chemistry between the main leads, I have to admit that it's not as strong as I would like. But, I don't think it's the actors' fault but the way they edit/cut the scenes. As soon as the couple has any time together, the scenes are always interrupted or suddenly cut off to show a different scene. Their scenes together and chemistry was not allowed to develop. Chemistry between actors are mostly developed during the editing part, and I think the editing here failed.
she has lots of good dramas check them out when you are bored
Yeah I like that one also, but Ten Miles has a special place in my heart as it was my first time watching her drama. Plus it had a HE. For LOFY, I had to convince myself that it was a HE🤣

Ten Miles and Eternal Love are the same drama, just different title depending on which platform you're watching. But be careful, there are 2 different dramas titled Eternal Love. Pick the one with Yang Mi and Mark Chao. I heard the other one is pretty good also, but I have never watched it

My all-time favorite is Ten Miles. The drama also started kinda slow (really typical of Cdramas to be honest) but oh man, her chemistry with Mark Chao was off the hook.
Finalllyy.. there will be new episodes from tomorrow.. till tuesday..This wait has been horribly long.. IQIYI…
I know! Worse for me is tomorrow is the last time I can watch it "live" because i'll be on vacation after that. Hopefully I can find some good wifi where I will be.
New episodes are finally dropping tomorrow! The wait has been brutal. And why are people rating episodes that…
Can't wait. I am looking forward to watching the remaining episodes.
As for people rating episodes even before they come out, they have nothing better to do with their lives than coming to a drama that they dislike just to rate it low.
wow, critics are coming out in troves while the drama is not airing new episodes. It's like they all got together and decided to have a party at a house that they don't like...lol...
The mother was the only one left out of the loop about the fall out between fl and the ex's family over the business…
I never said the Xin family were good people (especially the sister). My beef is with the FL mother. She brought all the scorn upon herself by being greedy. Sure, she says it's for her daughter, but she's really trying to get over her disappointment at her own life thru her daughter's. Of course, if my daughter was being insulted, I would defend her. I would calmly state what I think about the Xin family and their dishonesty and leave dignified rather than yelling and yapping. There are better ways to make a point across than screaming. And, most importantly, I would certainly not turn around and force my daughter to marry into the same family that had insulted her. FL mother just grovels as soon as she sees the dollar sign. Also, are you saying that if some elder was yelling at your mom (obviously also an elder), you wouldn't say anything insulting back (like the sister) just because she's an elder? I would not certainly stay silent. FL certainly did not either as she also insulted an elder (ex-boyfriend's mom) when she came to her own mom's defense.
I hope she changes and sees her wrong but I'm not too optimistic. Everyone is kinda tiptoeing around her. They should have drilled into her thick head that she was wrong, wrong, and wrong. She needed to be told that unless she changes her way, she'll lose her daughter. Like FL said, I don't really care what the Xin family is doing because of course they'll do what's best for them. However, for her mother (who is supposed to be defending her daughter) to still insist that she marries into that family, I have no words. She's truly a greedy idiot.
We're gonna have to agree to disagree if you think FL mother's actions are warranted. As of ep 16, she looks like she's willing to sell her daughter to the highest bidder. I'm glad that FL walked away.

Yeah, of course everyone wants their children to marry well, but honestly the mother takes it to another level. At first, she herself looked down on the boyfriend and then quickly changed her mind once she finds out he's rich. Then she makes such a ruckus when she finds out about the prenup that to any outsider, she'll look like she and her daughter are after the boyfriend's money. We, viewers know that MCH isn't but if I was in his family's shoes, the thought would have definitely crossed my mind. As of now, she comes off very hypocritical because she wants respect from a wealthier family but is not willing to give respect to those less fortunate than her. She would have treated MCH's boyfriend as dirt had he been poor.
If she wants respect, she needs to act more dignified. The boyfriend's mother just walked away calmly and didn't want to continue the dispute, but Mrs Mai just kept at it yelling at her. Sorry, in my country, people would refer to Mrs Mai as some uneducated women at the market (sorry, I really don't mean to disparage market vendors, some are lovely). If I was the sister and heard her yapping at my mom the way Mrs. Mai was, I would also put her in her place and shut her up. Don't get me wrong, I still don't like the Xin family, but Mrs Mai's attitude and actions were partly to be blamed for the way she was treated.
"Once she is dead, do you want to play house with her soul.?"That's exactly what he wants
yeah I remember he saying that once SJ takes control, they (THH and DFL) can be together in darkness. The guy is creepy. He's jealous that to THH, he's not the only one. He knows about THH's past feelings for DFYC
I have only watched up to ep 11 and haven't read much of the comments, but the consensus seems like the mother is crazy . I have to agree. OMG! I have never seen such a mother. The average Asian mother is no where nearly as bad as Mrs. Mai. I mean like, going uninvited to her future in laws' house and yelling at the other woman. It doesn't matter what Mrs Xin said, but she said it in a calm and dignified way while Mrs. Mai just starts screaming and be confrontational. No wonder the sister got pissed and said something mean to her. I would too if I was there.
Then what annoys me the most is FL comes in and start acting like her mother was such a victim and that the Xin family bullied her. Yes, I am happy that she broke up with her boyfriend because he's spineless. But, her saying that the reason for the break is that his family looks down on hers and doesn't treat her mother well is so annoying. While true that the Xin family is snobbish, FL's mother deserves it. She was the one that came to them, she was the one who started yelling at them. The woman was literally begging them for the wedding. Maybe if she minded her own business and doesn't act so greedy for a wealthy son-in-law, she wouldn't have been looked down on.
And what is the problem with a prenup, anyway? They act like it's such an insult. It's a legit way to protect one's asset. One side is much wealthier and needs to protect themselves. Happy marriages are not given. Things can go sour. And since MCH is sincere about not caring about his money, she shouldn't have a problem signing it.
okay, or i don't like where this is going with that bridge part, cause wtf now?? 🤣 i thought it's gonna be…
Apart from the kiss (probably to transfer some energy) and the porridge feeding plus some smarty answers from THH, really nothing to see there. ugh😒They're still in the same spot relationship wise
I think it has to do with some kind of formation that he can drum up in that valley of his or maybe DFL put something…
I guess he's just acting with her the same way that he had been acting with her in the past. To him, their relationship hasn't changed so what had worked before ( to woo her) should also work now although I can see a glimpse here and there of a stronger, more dominant DFYC. Like when she's accusing him of guessing on who killed Chi Shan and he accused her of also guessing that he did it. At that exact moment, I felt like they were on par with each other rather than Chief/sidekick of the previous arc. The old DFYC would not have the confidence to speak to THH that way.
