I believe that the success of this gay drama is a slap in the face to that director who said that gay stories didn't make money (High School Return of a Gangster), I don't think it's an unprecedented story that I haven't already seen in America or Europe, but for Korea I believe it's innovative because they still separate famous actors who won't play a gay character so as not to “ruin their career” and those at the beginning of their careers or the unknown ones who will play the Bls.
Honestly, expecting consistency in terms of good plot and writing from GMMTV is quite foolish, I gotta say 😅…
not that I disagree with you but because AOF can make works like Bad Buddy, Last Twilight, A Tale of Thousand Stars, Moonlight chicken and the others can't, I'm not even saying that I particularly like all these Bls, but compared to all the rest it's far superior, I was at X on Friday, hardly anyone was talking about kidnap, the awards in Thailand, however dubious, aof always wins when there's bl of it, so I don't know what's the point of just making bad scripts “but they live off selling teddies and fms' ok but does that bring more public to this bunch of bad Bls? GL pluto's script promises to be very interesting, but is it interesting just because they haven't built up a loyal audience yet and when they do they start making crap like the Bls?
