Contrary to popular opinion, I think Salt has actually done a good job so far. They haven't publicly announced much, but they must be doing quite a lot in the background. They must be liaising closely with Dispatch in their investigation, approving and validating stuff. They must be talking to all the ad agencies (CFs) individually and dealing with their questions and concerns (I believe all of them are back now except one big pizza company who I will not be buying from again). They must also be dealing with production houses, any new offers and most importantly, KSH's health. They are probably also supporting all those Homecha crew posts on Instagram. They have issued releases quite quickly when they WANTED to respond, like the contract rumours and Sad Tropics news, so we can assume they are choosing not to respond to anything else. Which has been the perfect strategy in my opinion - the public and international fans have really helped turned the corner and anything Salt would say would not have helped anywhere close to the phenomenon we are seeing now.
One thing I know is Kim Seon Ho when comebacks he won't be the same anymore, the goofy and clumsy with a heart…
I know 😢 hope he gets treatment like EMDR so he doesn’t have long term trauma.. And he hopes he gets over the ridiculous TMI shared to the world as well..
The one good thing to come out of all this mess is that everyone dug deep into KSH’s life and he came out as the sweetest kindest guy ever. The guy has no more hidden parts to his life! And he is incredibly lucky to have a fandom that stood by him so fiercely.
How come that's a good thing ? this website should be more about art, arc, films, drama's and performances of…
Thanks for the edit. Why all the individual CFs mentioned? Some of them have reinstated him already. It’s a non issue and will lead to more work for mods.
Hmmm looks like she gaslighted him. Poor guy even apologised because he was gaslighted and thought it was all his fault. Can we reverse all the articles now?
Not all countries in Europe. I am in the uk and have watched it fully but most of continental Europe just got the release in the first week of October.
After processing the scandal and related news for a week, I've come to realise a few things: - I am fine with KSH not attaining A-list status. His acting calibre is A list or beyond, but I don't want him to necessarily become an A list 'star' who has to always walk a thin line between publicity, PR, fandom and producers' massive expectations. I want him to act, and act well, but not necessarily in big productions and doing PR all the time.
- Today's Arena interview and his time at 2D1N have shown that he gets deeply involved in characters when he acts and has trouble letting himself go. He is a very artistic and sensitive soul. I remember how much Heath Ledger's mental health suffered when he was doing the Joker and I don't want KSH's mental health to suffer in a similar way - I'd rather take time off, do roles he can do justice to, have a gap between heavy roles and generally find a balance that works well for him.
WIth these thoughts in mind, I have come to terms with the fact he doesn't have 3 movies or CFs lined up. I am sure he will get a suitable role in time, but I'd rather him take time to heal and rest at the moment.
One thing I realised after reading the full OP post on Nate is that KSH took consent at every step along the way - she clearly mentions him asking, is this okay for you, in every aspect of the story.
PS: I am not making this up
